Accused of Heresy: Catholic Scholars Levy Charge Against Pope Francis

Bolivian socialist president Evo Morales presents Francis with bastardized crucifix.

‘Pope Francis is Guilty of the Crime of Heresy’

Some of the leading theological minds in today’s Catholic Church have very publicly accused Pope Francis of the sin of heresy, but not after the same privately contacted Francis with their very grave concerns.

While any faithful Catholic would be wary of accusing even the likes of a simple parish priest of such a severe sin, the theological thinkers previously mentioned have cited page after page referencing where the South American socialist has essentially ignored two millennia-worth of Catholic teaching.

In a hard-hitting letter to every single Catholic bishop worldwide, these Church officials have hammered Francis on everything from his extreme liberalization of the Church’s teaching on sexual morality, to his very public appearance carrying a satanic staff.

As repoted by the CNSNews.com news portal (emphasis mine);

In a detailed, 20-page, “Open Letter” to all the bishops of the Catholic Church, a group of Catholic scholars, theologians, and clergy have declared that Pope Francis is “guilty of the crime of heresy,” and have called on the bishops to investigate the case presented in their letter so they might “free the Church from her present distress.”

The scholars note that this process began in 2016 when a group of Catholics wrote a private letter to the cardianls about Pope Francis’ alleged heresies in his document Amoris Laetitia (The Joy of Love). As scandal continued, a “filial correction” was sent to the Pope, which he did not answer. A second letter and petition was made public in 2017, and now there is the Open Letter.

“Taken together, the words and actions of Pope Francis amount to a comprehensive rejection of Catholic teaching on marriage and sexual activity, on the moral law, and on grace and the forgiveness of sins,” the letter reads.

As it turns out, the theologians who signed the Open Letter aren’t the first Church officials to question the legitimacy of many of Francis’ pronunciations. As cited specifically from the Open Letter (emphasis mine);

Pope Francis has refused to deny that Amoris laetitia teaches heresies listed above, when requested to do so in the dubia (the Vatican’s version of Justices on the US Supreme Court) submitted to him by Cardinals Brandmüller, Burke, Caffarra, and Meisner in September 2016. These dubia specifically mentioned grave disorientation and great confusion of many faithful concerning matters of faith and morals resulting from Amoris laetitia.

Of the numerous accusations of heresy cited in the letter fired at Francis, the signatories also cited Other indications of Francis’ manifest heresy (emphasis mine);

  • On June 9, 2014, Pope Francis received the leaders of the militantly pro-homosexual Tupac Amaru organisation from Argentina at the Vatican, and blessed their coca leaves for use in their pagan religious rituals, which involve recognition of the coca plant as sacred.
  • Pope Francis has failed to speak a word in support of popular campaigns to preserve Catholic countries from abortion and homosexuality, for example, before the referendum to introduce abortion into Ireland in May 2018.
  • At the opening mass of the Synod on Youth in 2018, Pope Francis carried a staff in the form of a ‘stang’, an object used in satanic rituals.
  • During the Synod on Youth in 2018, Pope Francis wore a distorted rainbow-coloured cross, the rainbow being a popularly promoted symbol of the homosexual movement.
