American Hero: Debbie Wasserman Shultz ‘Pisses Me Off’

Wasserman Shultz Angers the Wrong Marine…

Andre Taggart made the decision early in his life to register as a member of the Democratic Party, as is his right under the Constitution of the United States.

Mr. Taggart also made the decision as a young man to serve his country as a US Marine, which he did, and has the honorable discharge to prove it.

It should also be noted that one of the Marine Corps’ 12 Leadership Traits is integrity; a trait that the vast majority of Marines consider the most important of all twelve.

As defined by the Marine Corps;

Integrity

  • Definition – Uprightness of character and soundness of moral principles. The quality of truthfulness and honesty.
  • Significance – A Marine’s word is his bond. Nothing less than complete
    honesty in all of your dealings with subordinates, peers, and superiors is acceptable.
  • Example – A Marine who uses the correct technique on the obstacle course, even when he cannot be seen by the evaluator.

As any objective observer would note, the hulking former Marine has integrity in spades.

Dovetailing nicely with integrity would be the leadership trait of courage;

Courage

  • Definition – Courage is a mental quality that recognizes fear of danger or criticism, but enables a Marine to proceed in the face of danger with calmness
    and firmness.
  • Significance – Knowing and standing for what is right, even in the face of popular disfavor. The business of fighting and winning wars is a dangerous one; the importance of courage on the battlefield is obvious.
  • Example – Accepting criticism for making subordinates field day for an extra hour
    to get the job done correctly.

Despite no longer being an active duty Marine, Taggart proves true the old adage: Once a Marine, always a Marine.

As reported by Luke Rosiak of the Daily Caller news portal, it was Taggart who discovered possible evidence of criminal activity by Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz, who also happens to be the ex-chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee.

A Marine who provided key evidence in the FBI case against Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s former IT employee [Imran Awan] said he is appalled by her claim that Islamophobia led U.S. Capitol Police to frame the former staffer.

Also Wednesday, two of Imran Awan’s relatives went on the record to say they think he would do anything for money.

Andre Taggart alerted the FBI to damaged hard drives and a cache of electronics tied to Imran Awan, a former IT specialist for dozens of House Democrats. Awan is the central figure in a criminal investigation of suspected procurement fraud and violations of the congressional IT network, including diverting data to an off-site server.

But the examples of Taggart’s personal sense of integrity and moral courage didn’t stop there;

Taggart told The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group Wednesday that “it was amazing” that Wasserman Schultz, a Florida Democrat, describes Imran as a victim of religious discrimination by law enforcement. Taggart rented the Northern Virginia home of Awan, who had frantically moved out after learning authorities were onto him.

Rather bluntly, Taggart also stated matter-of-factly, “It pisses me off” knowing that Wasserman Schultz is “crying wolf and devaluing the meaning of genuine discrimination, while also exposing herself and the nation to risks.”

“I just want to get these [guys] locked up and exposed and now,” Taggart told TheDCNF. “The people who facilitated them should also be locked up, as far as I’m concerned.”

Taggart said he made the decision to no longer be anonymous because he is concerned that his fellow Democrats are making a grave mistake by ignoring a scandal with serious criminal and national security implications.

While Taggart has made clear that he’s certainly no fan of President Trump, he’s also made clear he has a strong sense of right and wrong;

“I’m absolutely disgusted with everything going on in the country right now, mostly because of right-wing conservatives, but with respect to this situation, political affiliation is irrelevant,” Taggart said.

In regards to the now arrested and in-custody Imran Awan;

“Him, his wife [Hina R. Alvi], his brother(s) [Abid and Jamal Awan], all working down there — there’s no way they could do this without help. If we can drag Trump and his wingnuts through the mud for the Russia influence that they are having, then it’s only fair that we also expose this s–t,” Taggart said.

After Imran Awan realized the hard drives and electronics had been left in the house he rented to Taggart, Awan threatened to sue him to get the equipment back. Awan also listed the house for sale shortly after signing a multi-year lease with Taggart, the latter said.

As previously covered by Conservative Firing Line earlier this year, Imran Awan pulled in a cool $165,000 a year, three times the amount of the average House IT staffer.

Also noted was that brothers Imran, Jamal and Abid Awan are being investigated for “accessing [Congressional] members’ computer networks without their knowledge and stealing equipment from Congress.”

All three of the Pakistani brothers had been employed by Democrats. The offices that employed them included HPSCI minority members Speier, Carson and Joaquín Castro. Congressman Castro, who also sits on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, utilized the services of Jamal Moiz Awan. Speier and Carson’s offices utilized Imran Awan.

Abid A. Awan was employed by Lois Frankel and Ted Lieu: members of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. Also on the committee is Castro. As is Robin Kelly whose office employed Jamal Awan. Lieu also sits on thesubcommittees on National Security and Information Technology of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Tammy Duckworth’s office had also employed Abid. Before Duckworth successfully played on the sympathy of voters to become Senator Tammy Duckworth, she had been on the Subcommittee on Tactical Air and Land Forces of the Armed Services Committee.

Gwen Graham, who had also been on the Armed Services Committee and on the Tactical Air and Land Forces subcommittee, had employed Jamal Awan. Jamal was also employed by Cedric Richmond’s office. Richmond sits on theCommittee on Homeland Security and on its Terrorism and Cybersecurity subcommittee. He is a ranking member of the latter subcommittee. Also employing Jamal was Mark Takano of the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.

Imran had worked for the office of John Sarbanes who sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee that oversees, among other things, the nuclear industry. Other members of the Committee employing the brothers included Yvette Clarke, who also sits on the Bipartisan Encryption Working Group, Diana DeGette, Dave Loebsack and Tony Cardenas.
