CNN lawyer accuses David Webb (black guy) of being guilty of ‘White Privilege’

David Webb embarrasses Areva Martin.

While many have at least heard of SiriusXM radio host David Webb interviewing CNN legal analyst Areva Martin, a number still haven’t seen the video featuring that bit of radio history.

For those that haven’t seen it yet, allow me to say… it was a good look directly into the face of liberal America.

As the conversation went;

DAVID WEBB: “I’ve chosen to cross different parts of the media world, done the work so that I’m qualified to be in each one; I never considered my color the issue; I considered my qualifications the issue.”

AREVA MARTIN: “Well, David, that’s a whole other long conversation about white privilege, the things that you have the privilege of doing, that people of color don’t have the privilege of.”

DAVID WEBB: “How do I have the privilege of white privilege?”

AREVA MARTIN: “David, by virtue of being a white male you have white privilege. This whole long conversation, I don’t have time to get into — ”

DAVID WEBB: “Areva, I hate to break it to you, but you should’ve been better prepared. I’m black. You see, you went to white privilege; this is the falsehood in this. You went immediately with an assumption. Your people, obviously, or you didn’t look.”

As one comment posted to the YouTube video by Kathleen LoVerso of Webb’s FNC interview, she pretty much nailed it;

David Webb is successful because he wakes up everyday not thinking about his skin color. He exists… lives, loves, laughs and gets things done. 👍🏼💙✌🏼💫😊

According to her personal website, Martin describes herself as a “community activist, wife, entrepreneur, avid runner, author, award-winning civil rights attorney, talk show host, commentator, and go-to expert on compelling legal, political, women’s, children’s and celebrity issues.”

Not done singing her praises, her website goes a step further by stating, “Areva is also a CNN Legal Analyst whose television credits include regular appearances on Good Morning America, Daily Mail TV and talk and news shows across CNN and HLN.”

Too bad “basic researcher” failed to make the cut.
