“Announcement! Jesus of Nazareth has now appointed one of his successors, Greta Thunberg.” – Church of Sweden
The Church of Sweden (on formal occasions, The Evangelical Lutheran National Church in Sweden) has proclaimed their favorite homegirl, the sneering spawn of Antifa parents, climate chick Greta Thunberg is now at least one of the successors of the Prince of Peace.
As reported by the Washington Examiner,
The Church of Sweden declared teen star climate activist Greta Thunberg to be an appointed successor to Jesus Christ in a 2018 tweet that resurfaced in the wake of her speech before the United Nations.
“Announcement! Jesus of Nazareth has now appointed one of his successors, Greta Thunberg,” the tweet said on Dec. 1, 2018. The account, operated by the Limhamns Church, had previously tweeted several sentiments of climate activism.
As reporter Ellie Bufkin of the Washington Examiner also noted;
The Church of Sweden has a history of promulgating climate alarmism and Greta Thunberg particularly, noting on their official website, “When the Amazon burns, we gather to fight for Mother Earth together.”
In other news regarding the Church of Sweden, Britain’s The Guardian reported in November of 2017 that the denomination will officially no longer refer to God as “He” or “Lord”.
Sadly, the Swedes seem to have forgotten that the prophets and patriarch of the Old Testament always referred to The Almighty in the masculine.
Christ Himself referred to The Creator as “Father” on numerous occasions as cited in the Holy Gospels. Even unto death, as Jesus suffered on His cross, He called out to Heaven, “Abba”, loosely translated from the Aramaic to mean “Papa”.
But back to the topic at hand, New Zealand’s NewsHub is reporting that Thunberg “jokingly tweeted” the following;
I have moved on from this climate thing… From now on I will be doing death metal only!! https://t.co/mYqXxFuE77
