How fitting that today is Opening Day for Major League Baseball.
On this very day where the nation celebrates Day One of the great American pastime, there was a hint of baseball during today’s hearing of the House Intelligence Committee.
In the parlance of baseball, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA) was the setup man, Rep Mike Conaway (R-TX) was the closer.
Conaway openly called for Rep Schiff to resign his chairmanship.
Schiff, notorious for accusing President Trump of being a traitor, has yet to offer up anything even close to qualifying as evidence.
As Rep Conaway shoved in Schiff’s face, he plainly stated that the California Democrat “abused your position to knowingly promote false information.”
Not quite done yet, the legislator from the Lone Star State added;
“Your actions both past and present are incompatible with your duty as chairman. We have no faith in your ability to discharge duties.”
Congressman Adam Schiff, who spent two years knowingly and unlawfully lying and leaking, should be forced to resign from Congress!
