Marxist Zimbabwe Teeters on the Edge of ‘Man-Made Starvation’

In the market for another Socialist Workers’ Paradise? If those failed experiments in Communism, such as the former Soviet Union, the former East Germany, the former Yugoslavia don’t satisfy your dictatorship-of-the-proletariat Jonesing, there’s always the currently failing experiments in Communism such as North Korea, Venezuela, and Cuba.

The Zimbabwean 100,000,000,000,000 (100 trillion) dollar bill. Worth roughly 40 US cents.

But if you really, REALLY want to dig on a whole new region that Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez certainly won’t spend any discernable amount of vacation time in, there’s always the failed southern African nation of Zimbabwe.

Amazingly enough, the lead apologist for Communist dictatorships everywhere, the United Nations is reporting that over half of the nation’s population is on the brink of “man-made starvation.”

Since the white-minority government of Rhodesia was overthrown and the country was renamed Zimbabwe in 1980, the Marxist revolutionary organization, the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU–PF), has ruled the nation with an iron fist.

As with every other Leftist dictatorship, they’ve managed to destroy both the nation and the lives of millions.

Reduced to eating insects to fill their bellies.

But as reported by the French news service, Agence France-Presse, as well as the UN’s “Special Rapporteur on the right to food” both fail to mention how dictatorial Leftists have destroyed the nation once known as the breadbasket of Africa.

As reported;

Zimbabwe is facing “man-made” starvation with 60 percent of the people failing to meet basic food needs, a UN special envoy said Thursday after touring the southern African country.

Hilal Elver, Special Rapporteur on the right to food, ranked Zimbabwe among the four top countries facing severe food shortages outside nations in conflict zones.

“The people of Zimbabwe are slowly getting to a point of suffering a man-made starvation,” she told a news conference in Harare, adding that eight million people would be affected by the end of the year.

Far be it from AFP and the UN to put the blame directly in the laps of the lovers of Lenin, they tip-toe around the truth as only the Establishment Media and the UN can;

Zimbabwe is in the grips of an entrenched economic crisis, pervasive corruption, poverty, and a crumbling health system.

It’s a fair question.

The economy, crippled by decades of mismanagement under former president Robert Mugabe, has failed to rebound under Emmerson Mnangagwa, who took over following a military-led coup two years ago.

Did you get that? It’s “an entrenched economic crisis”, etc, etc, blah, blah, blah, that’s the problem.

Honestly… would it really be all that hard to say that Zimbabwe died a slow, painful death due to prolonged exposure to Communism?
