Does the name of Brittney Cooper ring a bell? This gal’s claim to fame is that she’s an assistant professor at Rutgers University in New Jersey.
Ahh, but not just any assistant professor, she’s with Rutger’s Department of Africana Studies / Women’s and Gender Studies, according to the university’s official website.
But if you just so happen to be wondering why certain non-forward thinking students go $50,000 – $100,000 in debt for an essentially worthless degree in Africana Studies or Women’s and Gender Studies, just keep in mind that Cooper also happens to specialize in “Black women’s intellectual history; Black feminist thought; race and gender politics in hip hop and popular culture”.
In case none of this rings a bell, Cooper is the same deep theologian (sarcasm off) who recently penned for Salon.com that Jesus is “a radical, freedom-loving, justice-seeking, potentially queer … feminist healer”.
Wow. If that isn’t enough BS to fill a standard-sized crock, her latest is that time is racist.
No, not the magazine, but time as defined by the Oxford Dictionary as “The indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.”
As reported by Breitbart.com;
Rutgers University Professor Brittany Cooper is back with another hot take. This time, she’s arguing that the modern conceptualization of time is racist.
According to a report from The College Fix, Cooper, who once argued that Jesus was “queer,” spoke with NPR last week about how white people “own time.” In the interview, Cooper made the case that white Americans have solely been responsible for conceptualizing the notion of “time.”
“If time had a race, it would be white,” Cooper said. “White people own time.”
