NY Times Launches Slime Attack on Gen. John Kelly’s Patriotism

Apparently, a presidential Chief-of-Staff sharing the same definition of patriotism as his boss is now a bad thing.

But that’s only if the C-i-S in question is John Kelly, and the president in question is Donald Trump.

In all fairness, it should also be noted that the ones casting the accusatory finger is none other than the paragon of objectivity and fairness, The New York Times.

As **achem** “reported” by Peter Baker of The Times, the writer bemoans that Kelly hasn’t reigned-in Trump to his satisfaction;

For all of the talk of Mr. Kelly as a moderating force and the so-called grown-up in the room, it turns out that he harbors strong feelings on patriotism, national security and immigration that mirror the hard-line views of his outspoken boss.

Imagine that… a man who spent well over 40 years in the Marine Corps happens to be a solid pro-American patriot. Whoda thunk it?

These are the type of men General John Kelly led as
Commander of all Multinational Forces in western Iraq.

Tell it to the Marines: General Kelly Tells of the Best Job He Ever Had

I’ll admit it – I love Gen Kelly. I love him as a father-figure, as a strong national leader, as a true role model in every sense of the word.

But what I admire most about the man is his strength of character. Specifically, his sense of humility.

Just listen to the general as he describes;

  1. The hardest job he’s ever had.
  2. The most important job he’s ever had.
  3. The best job he’s ever had.

America needs more like John Kelly, and a helluva lot less of the likes of Rahm Emanuel.
