House Democrats Call On Republicans To Take Action On Zika Funding Bill

Nut-Job Congresswoman Plays the Ultimate Victim Card

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you and the rest of the civilized world already have seen the disgusting video clip (below) of Florida Democrat Frederica Wilson gleefully proclaiming herself “a rock star” in the wake of the death of Sgt La David Johnson.

But what isn’t drawing as much attention is Wilson’s rather pathetic attempt to demonize General John Kelly. As reported by Anna Giaritelli of the Washington Examiner;

Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla., said Friday that White House chief of staff John Kelly’s use of the term “empty barrel” in a Thursday press conference was racist.

“That’s a racist term, too. I’m thinking about that one. We looked it up in the dictionary because I had never heard of an empty barrel. And I don’t like to be dragged into something like that,” Wilson told CNN Friday morning. “The only thing I want to be dragged into right now is getting back our girls who are the victims of Boko Haram in Nigeria.”

Somehow missing the irony of the Obama Administration historical ignoring the plight of “our girls” (other than a plethora of dopey hashtags), Wilson made a point further whoring out what few shreds of integrity and dignity she had remaining;

“Boko Haram and ISIS combined, and they killed my son,” Wilson added.

“You mean Sgt. La David Johnson?” the CNN host asked.

“La David. My role model son, my role model son,” Wilson clarified.

In the meantime, CNN political commentator and longtime Democrat propagandist Brian Fallon personally attacked General Kelly via social media;

To keep things in perspective, the Cambridge Dictionary defines odious as;

Odious
adjective UK /ˈəʊ.di.əs/ US /ˈoʊ.di.əs/ formal

extremely unpleasant and causing or deserving hate:

Thesaurus: synonyms and related words

Serious and unpleasant

abominable abysmal apocalyptic appalling awfully belief corrosive grim grisly grotesque gruesome hate noxious revolting rotten shitty shocking shockingly stinking wretched

Just so everyone is aware of the professional pedigree of Fallon, here’s a listing of the people or organizations the CNN talking head has been employed as a spokesman;

  • Kerry-Edwards presidential campaign
  • Senator Robert Menendez (currently on trial for corruption)
  • Senator Charles Schumer
  • Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Center
  • Attorney General Eric Holder’s Justice Department
  • Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign

Happily, there are still some who don’t mind confronting the political prostitution as practiced by the likes of Wilson and Fallon;

Help, She’s Talking and Can’t Shut Up

Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL) just doesn’t seem when to know when to shut her mouth.

After a smack down of Biblical proportions at the hands of President Trump’s Chief-of-Staff, General John Kelly, USMC (Ret), Wilson doubled down.

As reported by Amber Athey of the Daily Caller, Wilson was quoted as stating of the Gold Star father;

“John Kelly’s trying to keep his job. He will say anything.”

Other than the brief video clips that almost everyone in the civilized world has seen, below if the entire statement given by Kelly.

Besides the now famous “stunned and heartbroken” quote by the CoS, Kelly also called-out Wilson for yet another unbelievably stupid moment in the life of Frederica Wilson; (Full transcript here)

I’ll end with this: In October — April, rather, of 2015, I was still on active duty, and I went to the dedication of the new FBI field office in Miami. And it was dedicated to two men who were killed in a firefight in Miami against drug traffickers in 1986 — a guy by the name of Grogan and Duke. Grogan almost retired, 53 years old; Duke, I think less than a year on the job. (Editor’s note: The F.B.I. agent for which the building is named was named Jerry L. Dove, not Duke.)

Anyways, they got in a gunfight and they were killed. Three other FBI agents were there, were wounded, and now retired. So we go down — Jim Comey gave an absolutely brilliant memorial speech to those fallen men and to all of the men and women of the FBI who serve our country so well, and law enforcement so well.

There were family members there. Some of the children that were there were three or four years old when their dads were killed on that street in Miami-Dade. Three of the men that survived the fight were there, and gave a rendition of how brave those men were and how they gave their lives.

And a congresswoman stood up, and in the long tradition of empty barrels making the most noise, stood up there and all of that and talked about how she was instrumental in getting the funding for that building, and how she took care of her constituents because she got the money, and she just called up President Obama, and on that phone call he gave the money — the $20 million — to build the building. And she sat down, and we were stunned. Stunned that she had done it. Even for someone that is that empty a barrel, we were stunned.

But, you know, none of us went to the press and criticized. None of us stood up and were appalled. We just said, O.K., fine.

So I still hope, as you write your stories, and I appeal to America, that let’s not let this maybe last thing that’s held sacred in our society — a young man, young woman going out and giving his or her life for our country — let’s try to somehow keep that sacred. But it eroded a great deal yesterday by the selfish behavior of a member of Congress.
