The vaunted mob of so-called caravan migrants currently sponging off the city of Tijuana might not yet qualify as Democrats, but they sure know how to act like them.
A prime example would be some 200-odd entitlement whores originating from Honduras who marched on the US Consulate in Tijuana to deliver a letter demanding of President Trump, among other things, that he will either allow the “migrants” entry to the United States or they be given $50,000 each to return home to Honduras, as reported by Breitbart.com.
The aggrieved Hondurans also demand of our president;
The immediate removal of all US security interests from Central America
The immediate removal of all US economic interests from Central America
The immediate removal of all 13 US military installations in Central America
The immediate removal of Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez
This isn’t your father’s Democratic Party. You can say that again.
So what is today’s new and improved Democratic Party up to?
Defends those poor, mistreated ISIS killers
Refers to NRA members as “terrorists”
Protects the integrity of MS-13
Openly advocates for Hamas
Labels Republicans as “deplorable”
Booed the mere mention of God at the DNC a few years ago
The latest from the Jackass Party is that while the Trump Administration feeds, clothes, educates, provides medical treatment… all in a safe and sanitary setting, the Democrats openly lie of what’s happening.
The Democrats have described these facilities as throwbacks to Nazi death camps. Does the below picture look anything like Auschwitz? Hardly.
The New York Times quoted DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen correcting the fake news report that 12,000 minors were separated from their parents. In actuality, the vast amount of children held in protective custody of government officials came to the border via a third party, in other words, human traffickers;
The vast majority, vast, vast majority of children who are in the care of H.H.S. right now — 10,000 of the 12,000 — were sent here alone by their parents. That is when they were separated. So somehow we’ve conflated everything. But there is two separate issues. 10,000 of those currently in custody were sent by their parents with strangers to undertake a completely dangerous and deadly travel alone.
Secretary Nielson recently claimed that human trafficking is a $500 million per year business. As the Washington Post noted;
The math is pretty simple. A Homeland Security official explained that the agency assumed that transnational criminal organizations receive an average of $5,000 per person smuggled, a number based on interviews with undocumented immigrants who are caught. DHS apprehends about 300,000 people a year who try to illegally cross the border each year, so the agency took one third of that number — 100,000 — and multiplied it times $5,000, yielding a figure of $500 million.
According to the staff at Casa San Diego, only 10% of the kids there were actually separated from their parents. 90% of those residents were trafficked, sent across the border alone. This house is similar to Casa Padre in Texas. It’s the largest government contracted Youth Center in the nation. One of the dozens funded by you, the US taxpayers.
Of those astronomical numbers who made the trek with human traffickers, Ingraham also cited an interview she conducted with US Border Patrol Agent Hector Garza, when she asked of the conditions these children deal with at the hands of the human traffickers;
So we see on a daily basis Laura, we see these kids being abused on the Mexican side. We know when some of these female children come across, their parents send them with Plan B medication because they are expected to be raped along the journey when coming through Mexico, Central America and that’s horrific.
Ingraham also noted what the human traffickers to with these children as soon as US law enforcement officials are within sight;
On of our border agents from Texas last night revealed that he’s seen on many occasions that when border patrol approaches a ‘family unit’, the so-called parent, who ends up not being the parent, just drops the child runs.
And while the Democrats give a wink and a nod in approval to the modern-day slave traders, the number of women and girls raped by the “Coyotes” is simply put, sky high. As the reliably leftie Huffington Post noted;
According to a stunning Fusion investigation, 80 percent of women and girls crossing into the U.S. by way of Mexico are raped during their journey. That’s up from a previous estimate of 60 percent, according to an Amnesty International report.
This year alone, immigration authorities expect more than 70,000 unaccompanied minors to come through the United States unlawfully…
Here’s the truth of the matter; there aren’t any “unaccompanied” children headed from Central America to the US-Mexico border.
Slavers (aka: “Coyotes“) are the ones making tons of cash while plying their trade.
And the Democrats look the other way, instead, salivating at the sight of probable future Democrats crossing the border. Illegally, I might add.
From October through May [of 2018], the Border Patrol apprehended 32,372 unaccompanied minors, up about 1,300 from a year earlier.
The tens of thousands of children that cross over illegally to the United States is a problem that was alive and well during the Obama years, but widely ignored by the Establishment Media. As CBS News reported;
In fiscal year 2015 there were 39,970 children apprehended, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection statistics. That figure increased by about 33 percent in 2016 (59,692), before declining in 2017 (41,435). For fiscal year 2018, there have been 32,372 unaccompanied children apprehended, on pace to surpass 2017.
While the Democrats are making political hay from their often quoted “Nazi” comparison to Team Trump, I say shoot back.
Trump and his subordinates need to tell the American people the truth: The Democrats are complicit in the 21st century slave trade. End of story, full stop, period.
Now the Left is in meltdown over illegal alien minors being separated from their illegal alien parents.
Never mind that the legal precedent was signed into law under Barack Obama. Amazingly enough, there wasn’t a whole lot of outrage from the same Leftie-scum.
While I’m at it… ask your favorite #NeverTrump crybaby exactly how many illegals they happen to provide refuge to in their own homes? As we all know, the answer will be zero.
Again, while I’m at it… ask the same #NeverTrump crybaby if they happen to have a functioning front door to their apartment, home, mansion, whatever. Of course, they’ll say that obviously they have a functioning front door to their apartment, home, mansion, whatever.
Then ask them WHY they even bother having said functioning front door?
It’s quite amusing watching the lights slowly come on.
Anyhow, enjoy this flashback to the Blunder Years of Barry Obama;
It was the mid-1960s when César Chávez came into his own regarding his founding of the United Farm Workers union. Yes, the same César Chávez and UFW that were never exactly on friendly terms with those entering this country illegally… even to the point of violence.
In spite of Chávez fighting to protect the rights of American workers, it certainly looks as if his legacy has been turned on its head.
California unions claim that the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) immigration raids across Northern California will destroy farmers by causing fruit to “die on the vine.”
President of the United Farm Workers of America Arturo Rodriguez has complained that last week’s ICE raids in Northern California, which led to widespread panic, is a threat to California’s agricultural industry.
Yet the hushed story of Chávez’s often blood-soaked history of violence against illegal aliens has rarely been mentioned by the establishment press.
One of the very few mentions regarding the targeting of illegal immigrants, as reported by Ruben Navarrette, Jr. of the San Diego Union-Tribune on March 30, 2005, as well as by Daniel Greenfield of the right-of-center Front Page Magazine on March 21, 2014.
US citizens only need apply…
Greenfield correctly made note that Chávez was far from a Homeric figure;
Chávez was not a fan of expanding immigration. He believed that undocumented immigrants undercut the pay and negotiating power of unionized workers, and he protested farms’ use of migrant and undocumented workers as ‘strikebreakers.’
Despite the fact that Chávez is these [present] days revered among Mexican-American activists, the labor leader in his day was no more tolerant of illegal immigration than the Arizona Minutemen are now.
Worried that the hiring of illegal immigrants drove down wages, Chávez – according to numerous historical accounts – instructed union members to call the Immigration and Naturalization Service to report the presence of illegal immigrants in the fields and demand that the agency deport them.
UFW officials were even known to picket INS offices to demand a crackdown on illegal immigrants.”
The “Wet Line” attacks and the Chávez campaign of terror…
Navarrette went on to report:
And in 1973, in one of the most disgraceful chapters in UFW history, the union set up a ‘wet line’ to prevent Mexican immigrants from entering the United States.
Under the guidance of Chávez’s cousin, Manuel, UFW members tried at first to convince the immigrants not to cross. When that didn’t work, they physically attacked the immigrants and left some bloody in the process.
At the time, The Village Voice said that the UFW conducted a ‘campaign of random terror against anyone hapless enough to fall into its net.’
Never let it be said that Tucker Carlson doesn’t have a flair for words.
In a breaking story, The Washington Post is in full melt-down mode over President Trump’s comments in a meeting regarding immigration from El Salvador, Haiti and yet unnamed African nations, The Donald supposedly let loose with;
“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?”
Now quite done pissing people off, the President then queried as to why America isn’t bringing in “more people from countries like Norway.”
Enter The Tucker.
Never one to shy away from pearl clutchers or professional snowflakes, the Fox News opinion-meister took to Twitter with a cold slap of reality directly in the face of the perpetually offended;
Option A: El Salvador isn’t a “shithole,” so they don’t need 17 years of Temporary Protected Status, and migrants from there should be sent home immediately. Option B: El Salvador is, in fact, a “shithole.” https://t.co/sea1sKoY8K
The third word in the acronym ICE is “enforcement”. The first and second words are “immigration” and “customs,” respectively. Yet for whatever bizarre reason, Democrats are quite upset with ICE doing their job.
Arguably, the Democrats understanding of the English language is on par with their understanding of the constitutionality of the electoral college.
Proof of such would be the latest Trumper-tantrum the members of the Jackass Party are clutching their pearls over.
Like everything else with the Dems, they’re now having yet another group-power-pout over the Trump Administration violating various “sensitive” spaces that illegal aliens might find themselves occupying at any given time.
Yet to say that the Trump-haters are in melt-down is an understatement. Case in point would be Washington Post reporter Katie Mettler (via the Norwich Bulletin) managing to get the words “Donald Trump,” “undocumented immigrants” and “Gestapo” in the very first sentence of her article concerning recent ICE arrests.
But for a far-more objective and professional report, Lincoln Graves of KATU News (of Roseburg, Oregon), cites a US Representative from the Beaver State is none-too thrilled with how ICE has gone about arresting a number of illegal aliens.
U.S. Rep. Suzanne Bonamici, D-Oregon, along with other U.S. House members, unveiled legislation Thursday aimed at protecting “sensitive” locations during immigration enforcement efforts.
It would prohibit arrests, interviews, searches, and surveillance in medical or health care facilities, public and private schools, places of worship, courthouses, DMV offices, and locations that provide emergency services.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement currently operates under similar guidelines, but Bonamici says the bill would solidify and expand them.
“So this bill would put that into law and also expand sensitive locations to include courthouses because we are very concerned about people not being able to report crimes or, for example, seek protective orders,” Bonamici said.
Bonamici hosted a roundtable discussion at Portland State University Friday morning. Local and state leaders joined the discussion, which centered on why the legislation was needed.
“These are people who feel safer at home with their abuser than they do coming to get services they need,” said Multnomah County Chair Deborah Kafoury, in reference to undocumented immigrants who’ve avoided domestic violence counseling because they’re afraid ICE agents could be staked out a government buildings.
“It pains me that we are not able to take away the fear and the stress and the strain that our community members are feeling,” Kafoury said. “I strongly believe this legislation is an important step forward.”
There is, however, opposition to Bonamici’s idea.
Kevin Hoar, spokesman for the Oregon GOP sent KATU a statement that reads:
“Congresswoman Bonamici is proposing to create a “safe zone” to interfere with the enforcement of federal law that she has sworn to uphold. ICE is performing an essential service to Americans by seeking to detain and deport the illegal aliens who have been committing serious crimes in our country. Why isn’t her priority to ensure that our country is a “safe zone” from the serious crimes of illegal aliens?”
In a none too subtle swipe, Pope Francis has openly questioned the Christianity of Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, as reported by Britain’s venerable BBC on Feb. 18, 2016. Finishing a six-day visit to Mexico, the South American Jesuit told the press “A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not of building bridges, is not Christian.”
For his part, Trump responded with, “For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian. No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith.” While campaigning ahead of the GOP South Carolina Presidential Primary, he also stated, “[The pope] said negative things about me. Because the Mexican government convinced him that Trump is not a good guy.”
Curiously, during a state visit last September between Francis and Barack Obama, there was nary a mention from Francis regarding Obama’s past opposition to the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act (BAIPA) while he was an Illinois state senator early in his political career. In a 2008 report, LifeSiteNews.com noted, “Barack Obama, as a member of the Illinois State Senate, actively opposed a state version of the BAIPA during three successive regular legislative sessions. His opposition to the state legislation continued into 2003 – even after NARAL [National Abortion Rights Action League] had withdrawn its initial opposition to the federal bill, and after the final federal bill had been enacted in August 2002.”
According to Douglas Johnson, NRLC [National Right to Life Committee] spokesman, “in 2003, Barack Obama, as chairman of an Illinois state Senate committee, voted down a bill to protect live-born survivors of abortion – even after the panel had amended the bill to contain verbatim language…” As cited, in 2000, the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act (BAIPA) was first introduced to the United States Congress. This was a two-paragraph bill intended to clarify that “any baby who is entirely expelled from his or her mother, and who shows any signs of life, is to be regarded as a legal ‘person’ for all federal law purposes, whether or not the baby was born during an attempted abortion.”
Testifying before the US Congress in 2000 was Jill Stanek, a nurse at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois, who saw firsthand what happened to children who survived the abortion procedure. “Stanek relates the story of how one night she saw a nurse bringing a baby to the soiled utility room to die, because the parents of the child did not want to hold it. The other nurse also did not have the time to hold the child. ‘When she told me what she was doing I couldn’t bear the thought of this suffering child dying alone,’ says Stanek. ‘And so I cradled and rocked him for the forty-five minutes that he lived.'”
Stanek also stated in her testimony to Congress that she also had previously appeared before an Illinois State Senate Committee, a Committee on which Barack Obama sat. “Barack Obama,” she says, “was unmoved, and actually opposed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.”
According to the official teaching of the Catholic Church regarding abortion is actually quite clear, especially concerning the the very basic right of being considered “a person”; “Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person – among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life.”
Another part of the Catechism of the Catholic Church Francis may have missed was the quite unambiguous passage regarding immigration; “Political authorities, for the sake of the common good for which they are responsible, may make the exercise of the right to immigrate subject to various juridical conditions, especially with regard to the immigrants’ duties toward their country of adoption. Immigrants are obliged to respect with gratitude the material and spiritual heritage of the country that receives them, to obey its laws and to assist in carrying civic burdens.”
Much like the fairy story that is so-called “global warming” and the other myth-accepted-as-fact that Obama Care will lower health insurance premiums for everyone, the other media-hyped flight of fancy is that America’s immigration system is “broken” and is badly in need of “comprehensive reform.” Side note: Isn’t it odd that so many of the people that scream for “comprehensive reform” can’t even give a correct definition of what it means? No problem, Obama, Reid, and Pelosi say it all the time, so it must be something really super-duper important.
But I digress. Folks, America’s immigration system works just fine. The only real problem we have is that both Obama and Bush simply chose not to enforce the immigration laws. The system, process, whatever you want to call it, works just fine. But like any other complex mechanism, if the operator(s) decide to screw it up, screwed it shall be. Bush looked the other way when the engine overheated. Whereas Obama went out of his way to throw his Sabots into the machinery. Another side note: This is another difference between us conservatives and you liberals – when a politician who labels him or herself as a conservative, when they screw-up, we hammer them. Liberals on the other hand are fed their own guts by their political masters and then have the audacity to call it steak. And liberals lap it up and ask for more à la Oliver Twist.
But I digress, yet again. Obama’s de facto granting of amnesty to somewhere between 4.5 – 6 million immigrants has been a spit in the face to ever legal, law-abiding naturalized citizen this nation has ever made one of our own. The very same legal, law-abiding naturalized citizen that followed that very basic American trait of just following the rules. Most waited patiently for years. Many spent a small fortune just to proudly and legally say “I’m an AMERICAN citizen.” Some went as far as fighting and bleeding for this country before it became their country.
As far as our nation’s immigration system being “broken,” the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (formerly known as the Immigration and Naturalization Service) has for decades maintained the wherewithal to correctly process though the system millions of newly minted American citizens each and every year. But that number is now getting getting smaller and smaller each and every year. Why? Simple … what few Border Patrol Agents are actually stationed on the Mexican line are busy changing diapers and keeping those rambunctious members of the MS-13 Teen Auxiliary occupado. Should I even bring up the Three Stooges farce the immigration court system has become? No … you get the picture.
While an already bureaucratically-bloated immigration system does manage to somehow plod along despite of 11 – 20 million illegals overloading the system, it’s not a perfect system. Someone with a backbone needs to blow into town with a fat-cutting chainsaw. As The Fiscal Times noted recently, “There are an estimated 4.4 million people on waiting lists to qualify for family-based or employment visas to enter the U.S., with waiting times ranging on average from five years to 20 years. Experts say there are so many different types of visas and regulations — and so many peculiarities to the law and bureaucratic snafus — that discussing the length of lines is almost meaningless.”
But there are those who willingly wait in line. Correctly, responsibly, legally. And every so often there are cases of legal aliens who have such a love for the United States, they’re willing to put their lives on the line just to be called “American.” Men such as Sergeant Tikonblah Dargbeh, USMC and Lance Corporal Mario Pacheco-Perez, USMC.
Born Mexican citizens, Mario and his twin brother Josue came to this country as permanent legal residents in 2006. When the brothers learned that volunteering for military service could speed up their naturalization process, both chose the branch of service known for an almost fanatical love of the United States – the US Marine Corps.
Another that not only talked the talk, but walked the walk, was Liberian-born Tikonblah Dargbeh, “whose father instilled in him the belief that America represented greater opportunity to excel.” When made a citizen in 2009, the Marine Sergeant’s mother, Marta said of her son, “As a little kid, he had always loved the military, so this is a dream come true for him to be able to get into the Marines and here he is a U.S. citizen. It’s a really big occasion for us. We are very proud of him.”
Among the Teufelhunden’s awards are campaign ribbons denoting his two combat tours as well as the Combat Action Ribbon, the Presidential Unit Citation, and the Purple Heart for wounds received when a suicide bomber rammed his bomb-laden car into Sgt. Dargbeh’s vehicle. Without coming off as a braggart, the Leatherneck plainly said at his citizenship ceremony, “I understand what it means to give selfless service.”
Sadly for this nation, new Americas like Tikonblah Dargbeh and the Brothers Pacheco-Perez are quickly becoming the exception rather than the rule. Those that followed the law should file a personal lawsuit against Obama and also against the Executive Branch. As they say on the streets, they were done dirty.
