While many Canadian and non-Canadians alike view the country’s people as a gentle, pastoral folk who would rather listen to a Rush album instead of the Rush Limbaugh Show, the two recent Islamic Jihadist attacks aimed specifically three members of the Canadian Defence Forces illustrate that in order to have a free and open society, that same society has no choice but to realize that, as Richard Grenier noted: “people sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.”
Perhaps in a move proving there is no distance too far for the ISIS Islamic Jihadists to travel when it comes to the destruction of Western civilization as well as anyone else who disagrees with them, subject matter experts are warning that it’s certainly conceivable that ISIS terrorists would resort to making themselves human bioweapons in their wove to establish a world-wide Shari’a Law complaint caliphate. As reported on Oct. 10, 2014 by both the Breitbart.com news portal, and the Al Arabiya news service of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, security experts in both the United States and Great Britain are warning that the terrorist organization certainly has the wherewithal to launch such biological attacks.
Retired U.S. Navy Captain Al Shimkus, who is also a professor of National Security Affairs at the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island, is of the opinion that terrorists offering themselves up in martyrdom as Ebola suicide weapons “is potentially on the horizon.” Capt. Shimkus also stated that if and when any given ISIS member becomes infected, “In the context of terrorist activity, it doesn’t take much sophistication to go to that next step to use a human being as a carrier.” As noted by Breitbart.com’s reporter Frances Martel, the only difficult or complex part of any suicide Ebola attack plan would be actually getting the attackers into the targeted area before succumbing to the virus themselves.
According to numerous reports, there is estimated hundreds of individuals who have sided with ISIS that also possess Western passports. Of that number, there are at least 100 Britons and a dozen Americans in possession of their respective nation’s passports. Security experts have also warned of the relative ease the ISIS fighters could return to the West.
Meanwhile on the other side of the Atlantic in Buckinghamshire, England, the Director at Buckingham University’s Center for Security and Intelligence Studies, Professor Anthony Glees, also sounded the warning call that the Islamists may also be considering such a plan. “In some ways it’s a plausible theory – IS [ISIS] fighters believe in suicide and this is a potential job for a suicide mission,” Glees stated. The professor was also very plain spoken when he added, “They are sufficiently murderous and well-informed to consider it, and they know that we’ve been remiss in the UK.”
With the terrorist group ISIS airing videos of their grisly beheadings of hostages with regularity, their recent threat against everyday Americans may have unwittingly brought to light that the U.S. government is so large, bloated and bureaucratic, America could possibly be the proverbial giant that can’t tie its own shoes. As reported by Fox News via the Military.com news portal on Oct. 3, 2014, a U.S. Army intelligence warning is getting the word out to military personnel and their families to exercise vigilance after ISIS called on its many supporters to “scour social media for addresses of their family members — and to ‘show up [at their homes] and slaughter them.'”
