The fraternal bond between law enforcement officials has long been known for its legendary strength in the face of adversary and grief. Yet the show of solidarity recently displayed in New York City has crossed not only international borders, but reached beyond the seas. As reported by the Washington, DC-based the Raw Story news portal on Dec. 28, 2014, former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani took to the airwaves to cite that officers attending the funeral for an assassinated brother weren’t just from The Big Apple.
Despite the mayor of the Big Apple asking those who tag police forces across the nation as racist or in a de facto state of war with black and brown people, more than a few took to both the streets and as well to social media to spread their hatred of the proverbial Boys in Blue. As reported by the right-of-center The Daily Caller news portal on Dec. 26, 2014, and also by CNN Money via Fox6 (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) on Dec. 25, 2014, much to the chagrin of many of the anti-police activists, JetBlue airline is offering to fly two police officers from each law enforcement agency on its various routes across the nation to New York City for thefunerals of NYPD Officers Liu and Ramos, who were assassinated last weekend.
It may be a case of everything old is new again. Much like during the turbulent late ’60s and early ’70s when more than just a few hard-left individuals managed to get their images splashed across television screens across the planet, much like their forefathers of almost half a century ago, today’s members and supporters of The Revolutionary Communist Party, USA are propagating as loud as they can to convince the masses that police departments across the nation are dyed-in-the-wool racists, referred to as “Pigs,” who seek to murder as many blacks and Latinos as possible.
