The same organization that demands ethical treatment for all living creatures is now calling for the execution-style killing of a Minnesota dentist who allegedly illegally trophy hunted Cecil the lion in the African nation of Zimbabwe. However, there has been no similar outrage of reports that Jericho the lion will most likely kill all of Cecil’s lion cubs, reportedly numbering somewhere between a dozen to 24 after he forcibly impregnated six subservient and objectified lionesses.
The good folks at the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) are not exactly thrilled with what former football legend Joe Namath wore to the Super Bowl, as reported by CBS New York on Jan. 2, 2014.
You can call him Joe Willie; Broadway Joe; Super Bowl III MVP; or even an NFL Hall of Fame inductee, but as far as PETA is concerned, don’t call him for clothing tips.
Is the leather vested Hells Angels next…?
Eastern Michigan University (EMU) has reportedly hosted controversial animal activist Gary Yourofsky to lecture young minds on the moral evils of eating meat and other food products such as yogurt and eggs, as reported by the right-of-center news portal Front Page Magazine on Nov. 11, 2013.
Not released to the general public until after the fact, Yourofsky spoke before a EMU Sociology 101 class in which he equated the consumption of animals and animal-products to that of engaging in sexual congress with beasts:
Is bestiality weird to you? Doing sexual things with animals?
Because I used to think everybody thought so, but not even close, my meat, cheese, and egg-loving friends, because you engage in carnivorous bestiality on a daily basis.
