“Duck Dynasty’s” Phil Robertson has made no secret that his almost fifty years of wedded bliss to his beloved Miss Kay began when she was a lass of 16, yet that seems to come as a surprise to CNN as they reported on Jan. 2, 2014.
Citing a 2009 Youtube.com video, the leader of the Family Robertson was recorded advising young men to marry their would-be brides at an early age.
“Look, you wait ’til they get to be 20 years old, the only picking that’s going to take place is your pocket,” Robertson stated. “You got to marry these girls when they are about 15 or 16.”
Just as the furor from the politically left side of the aisle has just started to simmer down regarding the controversial opinions voiced by the paterfamilias of “Duck Dynasty’s” Robertson crew, the same business owned by the family has just launched a new line of firearms, as reported by CNN Money on Jan. 2, 2014.
Reportedly to be released sometime this winter, the hunting equipment company Duck Commander has signed on with the Mossberg & Sons firearms company to market a line of nine different shotguns, two .22 caliber rifles and one .22 pistol.
Longtime contributor to the left-of-center MSBNC network Michael Eric Dyson left little to the imagination as he hammered the syndicated reality show “Duck Dynasty” of being part of the “majority white supremacist culture,” as reported by the right-of-center news portal Breitbart.com on Dec. 27, 2013.
Georgetown University professor of sociology and regular of the “Lean Forward” network, Dyson slammed the wildly popular Duck Dynasty program as well as star Phil Robertson as essentially tools of the greater white culture in fomenting hatred against those different from themselves.
OK, Phil Robertson… A+E cracked under the pressure of everyone and their brother telling them to go to hell.
It’s obvious A+E not only initially knuckled under to the thugs in the Pink Mafia, they openly supported them.
It’s equally obvious to us that in the heart of hearts to the powers-that-be at the Arts and Entertainment network look upon the Holy Bible, traditional values and anything remotely resembling moral absolutes is nothing more than total BS.
In the wake of the Arts and Entertainment network (A+E) dropping Phil Robertson faster than both the Lions and Patriots wide receivers deal with forward passes, there has been precious little said by the former opera and orchestra channel when it comes to openly gay stars of one of their programs express sexual preference to “man ass,” as reported by the sensationalist news portal TMZ.com on Dec. 18, 2013.
As anyone with even a faint pulse knows by now, A+E dropped the Robertson clan’s patriarch of the wildly popular hit “Duck Dynasty” within hours after he stated in an interview with GQ Magazine:
NEWS FLASH!!Grass is green, the sky is blue, Phil Robertson is a conservative Christian.
By now, liberals, independents and conservatives have all heard about Phil Robertson’s GQ Magazine interview.
No pun intended, but suffice it to say… feathers have been ruffled.
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, here’s a thumbnail of what’s going on: the big daddy of the über-popular reality TV show “Duck Dynasty” stated during an interview that he considered the homosexual act not only sexually undesirable, but sinful.
