America’s Gentleman Bachelor may be living in a vagina-free zone, but I’ll give this to the ageing fairy, he does have a set of balls on his.
Case in point: While appearing on CNN’s State of the Union Sunday morning program, hostess Dana Bash was going back and forth with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) in regards to President Trump’s announced plan to withdraw all US troops from Syria and roughly halve the number of troops currently deployed to Afghanistan.
As the conversation drifted to the reason why Barack Obama ordered the total withdrawal from Iraq in 2011, Bash immediately (and incorrectly) defended Obama, stating that he was legally bound to cut-and-run from Iraq due to the SOFA (Status of Forces Agreement) signed back in 2008.
It was then that the senior senator from the Palmetto State got rather testy with Bash, telling her in live TV that her defense of Obama was “a bunch of bullshit.”
During a Sunday interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Graham said that he doesn’t approve of President Donald Trump’s decision to pull troops from Syria and Afghanistan but added that the president inherited a “bad hand” from Obama.
“Everything we’re dealing with today falls on Obama’s watch,” Graham argued. “He’s the one who withdrew from Iraq.”
“But he did it because there was a Status of Forces Agreement,” host Dana Bash interrupted.
The U.S. and Iraq finalized a Status of Forces Agreement in 2008 wherein the U.S. government agreed to pull all troops out of Iraq by the end of 2011. However, the agreement was dependent on the current status of ground operations and the Bush administration expected that Obama would renegotiate the deal rather than pull out all of the troops at once.
“No, that’s a bunch of bullshit,” Graham responded to Bash’s point. “Pardon my French — that’s a complete lie.”
Graham doubled down and asserted that pulling the troops out of Iraq was a personal desire of Obama’s rather than something that was forced because of an agreement between the two countries.
“[Trump] was dealt a bad hand by Obama and he needs to play it better than he’s playing it,” Graham said. “I’m gonna talk to him at lunch.”
As everyone surely knows, two illegal alien children have tragically died while in the custody of CBP (Customs and Border Patrol).
Predictably, Democrat politicians and their lackies in the media are venting their collective spleens with accusations of President Trump turning the CBP into a latter day Geheime Staatspolizei (aka: the Gestapo).
Over Christmas, there was another tragedy at the border. An eight-year-old migrant boy died while in the custody of the Border Patrol. It’s horrible. It’s not something that anyone wants in these situations, but U.S. immigration authorities didn’t murder the child, which is heavily insinuated if not suggested by members of the liberal media. We have some folks going off half-cocked saying we have full-blown concentration camps under the Trump presidency when it comes to border enforcement. It’s straight up insanity. Then again, what would you expect the reaction would be from a movement that wants open borders?
Know why German women are so hot? Because Teutonic raiding parties didn’t bring back the ugly ones.
If that bit of anecdotal evidence is actually true, then Exhibit A would surely be Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Heather Nauert. But with that beauty also comes brains.
And for her political savvy and ability to think on her feet, the word’s out that President Trump will nominate Under Secretary Nauert to honcho the American mission at the United Nations, as reported by the United Press International.
As a retired Marine, I’ll admit that it pains me to see a Marine Corps officer reduced to being little more than a glorified usher, especially in light that the Corps has at least half-a-million dollars invested in that young captain. But that’s a different rant for a different day.
At the funeral service for President George H.W. Bush held today at Washington, D.C.’s National Cathedral (Episcopal), there was a rather tense moment in the Presidential Pew.
As the current POTUS and FLOTUS were escorted to their designated seats in the front pew, it’s tradition that all surviving ex-Commanders-in-Chiefs and former-First Ladies sit in the same pew with the current residents of the White House.
As seen in the video below, the Trumps were, by tradition, the last seated.
Entering first, Melania Trump exchanged handshakes with the Obamas, Bill Clinton, and waved at the furthest seated from them, the Carters. President Carter was caught on camera briefly responding to Melania’s wave.
Last seated, President Trump exchanged handshakes with the Obamas. While President Clinton at least looked towards President Trump (or maybe he was still eye-molesting Melania), Hillary remained stone faced.
The “look” on Hillary’s face is reminiscent of the same facial expression she gave to the families of those killed under her watch in Benghazi.
Don’t you hate it when your watching a fiery political panel argument (I sure as hell won’t use the word “debate”), and you literally scream at the TV, “TELL THAT LIBERAL IDIOT blah, blah, blah, wonk, wonk, wonk?
Well, as I was watching Bulls and Bears this afternoon on Fox Business News, the topic ended-up migrating to the subject of the death of part-time Philadelphia resident and part-time writer for the Washington Post, Jamal Khashoggi.
As thousands of the media-hyped “caravan migrants’ have reached the US-Mexican border city of Tijuana, the same media isn’t quite sure how to describe the hundreds, if not thousands, of patriotic-minded Mexican citizens who are none-too thrilled with the sudden influx of people they consider “invaders”.
While the Establishment Media describes the number of Mexicans protesting the largely Guatemalan, El Salvadorian, and Honduran caravanners as numbering in the hundreds, take those estimations as you will.
It goes without saying that the liberal media shrinking the numbers of the Mexican protesters would be counter-productive to their particular narrative and agenda.
In a move that surprises almost no one, the Fox News Channel is saddling-up with CNN and their rather arrogant ex-White House reporter, Jim Acosta.
Fox News reporter Jim Flood cites Fox News President Jay Wallace as officially throwing the network’s power, influence and reputation behind the network that Ted Turner built.
As reported, Wallace isn’t just making public his own personal support for CNN and Acosta in their long running feud with President Trump, Wallace plans of filing an amicus (Latin for “friend of”) briefing in U.S. District Court on behalf of the entire Fox News Chanel.
As the story goes, when French President Charles DeGaulle militarily pulled out of NATO in 1966, the famed WWII general also ordered all American soldiers off French soil.
President Lyndon Johnson fired back, asking if that also included all the American soldiers in French soil.
Here we are 52-years later, and it looks as if our French “allies” are not only giving the United States the bum’s rush, our snail-eating bons amis now consider us the enemy.
While the European Union has never made a secret of their wish for a “real European army” (as current French President Emmanuel Macron puts it), this is the first time that an EU national leader has categorized the United States as a possible enemy.
In the meantime, the “real European army” has the official title of the European Intervention Initiative, and has been “championed by French President Emmanuel Macron” as reported by Euractiv.com on June 25, 2018.
As it turns out, the United States has guaranteed peace in Europe for the past four generations.
With the backdrop of Macron’s crosshairs aimed directly at the Stars and Stripes, President Trump is having none of this.
President Macron of France has just suggested that Europe build its own military in order to protect itself from the U.S., China and Russia. Very insulting, but perhaps Europe should first pay its fair share of NATO, which the U.S. subsidizes greatly!
French President Emmanuel Macron called Tuesday for a “real European army” as the continent marks a century since the divisions of World War I, to better defend itself against Russia and even the United States.
Macron, who has pushed for a joint EU military force since his arrival in power last year, said Europe needed to reduce its dependence on American might, not least after US President Donald Trump announced he was pulling out of a Cold War-era nuclear treaty.
“We have to protect ourselves with respect to China, Russia and even the United States of America,” Macron told Europe 1 radio.
What the French Press Agency fails to mention regarding “US President Donald Trump announced he was pulling out of a Cold War-era nuclear treaty” is that the Russians have been cheating for years. As reported by the Washington Times;
President Trump’s decision to withdraw the United States from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF), signed in 1987 by President Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, seems to have surprised Russia President Vladimir Putin. However, it should not have come as a shock.
Moscow began violating the INF Treaty at least 10 years ago. Much like the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the INF was on life support during most of President Obama’s term in office. President Trump simply pulled the plug.
The nine EU member nations that have already signed-off as founding members of the European Intervention Initiative.
As usual, our stalwart Polish allies are dead-set against any notion of an EU-only military force (see video below).
Especially in the run-up to the mid-term elections, Democrats are lulling the party faithful into a state of extra stupid by drilling into them the mantra, “Trump only gave tax cuts to the rich… Trump only gave tax cuts to the rich…”
From Bernie to Beto, from San Francisco to Fire Island, those fibbin’ libs are purposefully lying to their constituents in regards to President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.
And for whatever bizarre reason, the Demo-drones are lapping it up.
For those folks, I have one reasonable question: Do you have the basic intelligence required to read and comprehend your tax information on your paystub? Of course, I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt by assuming they’re actually gainfully employed.
Don’t blink. You just might miss the Establishment Media coverage of the hundreds of Persians protesting against the despot and thugocrat president of Iran, Hassan Rouhani.
Unfortunately, but fully expected, MSM was rather sparse when it came to assigning reporters to cover the protests outside Rouhani’s mid-town Manhattan hotel.
In fact, I had to go to a Chinese-centric (and anti-Chinese Communist Party), but New York-based news service, NTD.tv (New Tang Dynasty television) to find any comprehensive news on the Persian protesters.
The U.S. Representative for Massachusetts’s 4th congressional district has taken to social media to lecture anyone who’ll listen to him how women ALWAYS deserve to be believed, especially in cases of rape or sexual abuse/assault, period.
As soon as I read his tweet (below), three things immediately crossed my mind;
Apparently, JoJoJo never heard of something along the lines of the presumption of innocence
Apparently, JoJoJo never caught a showing of of the film Chappaquiddick
Apparently, JoJoJo never learned how to cite references for his alleged facts
First things first — this ridiculous Op-Ed piece published by the NY Times claiming to be penned by an anonymous “senior official in the Trump administration” raises one hell of a lot more questions than it provides answers.
Simply based on The Times publishing this essay anonymously, how in the world are we to believe it was authentically authored by “a senior official in the Trump administration”?
In all sincerity, what guarantee do we have that this wasn’t written by some starry-eyed NeverTrump intern working out of a janitor’s closet in the basement of The New York Times Building?
There isn’t one. That’s the guarantee we have from the NY Times.
Especially in light of their track record of textbook yellow journalism the Gray Lady has been pumping out for more than a few decades. The good folks at the NYT will have to excuse me for not quite believing them (sarcasm, off).
But just for shits and grins, let’s assume there’s still a shred of journalistic integrity left at the self-titled “newspaper of record.”
How do we know if this individual is even in Trump’s inner circle? We don’t.
How do we know if this individual even works in the West Wing? We don’t.
How do we know if this individual even works at the White House? We don’t.
How do we know if this individual is even in the Greater Washington, DC area? We don’t.
Something else to consider, if this phantom writer truly is “a senior official in the Trump administration” please keep in mind that the words “Trump administration” are synonymous with “the Executive Branch of government.” That’s an awful lot of people.
Let’s kick it up a notch. According to the official website of the Office of Personnel Management, there are well over two million civilian employees under the auspices of the Executive Branch. The possibility of those desirous to refer to themselves “senior officials” conceivably could number in the thousands.
Yeah, I know I’m ahead of the power curve on this one, but I think our president is a shoe-in for the next Nobel Peace Prize.
I’m also of the opinion that in light of the Nobel’s recent history, President Trump very well may consider the Nobel medallion itself little more than a glorified doorstop.
As we all remember, the Nobel committee selected Barack Obama as the 2009 recipient. And Obama’s qualifications? Well, he wasn’t George W. Bush… and that’s all those pussy Europeans considered important.
Anyhow, I think our president should accept when he wins the Norwegian honorific for his efforts to evade World War III on the Korean Peninsula.
Upon his acceptance, I certainly would consider it as Trump’s crowning glory if he were to accept in the name of our fellow American citizens in the Mariana Islands chain, as well as Otto Warmbier.
As everyone remembers from last summer, North Korean government-controlled media specifically threatened the US territory of Guam with a nuclear strike.
As the reliably leftie Independent newspaper of London noted;
North Korea is reviewing plans to strike US military targets in Guam with its medium-range ballistic missiles to create “enveloping fire,” according to state media.
The governor of Guam, Eddie Baza Calvo, posted an address early Wednesday morning on YouTube, telling island residents not to worry.
“I know we woke up to media reports of North Korea’s talk of revenge on the United States and this so-called newfound technology that allows them to target Guam,” the governor said. “I’m working with Homeland Security, the rear admiral and United States to ensure our safety, and I want to reassure the people of Guam that currently there is no threat to our island or the Marianas.”
Directly north of the American territory on the Marianas chain is the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas (CNMI).
While most State-Siders don’t even know that the Marianas Islands are 100 percent American, both Guam and the CNMI are a whole lost closer to Pyongyang than Washington, DC (2,000 miles vs nearly 13,000 miles, respectively).
As Gov. Calvo (R) informed the Commander-in-Chief that not only the residents of Guam, but also those in the CNMI know what it’s like to be “targeted”.
All Americans knew the feeling of being within range of NoKo ballistic missiles, but our fellow Americans on the Marianas probably wouldn’t even have enough warning time to even take cover.
It’s no small wonder that thousands of the Chamorro gathered at towns and villages up and down the chain to publicly recite the Rosary asking for celestial intervention.
A more than worthy co-recipient would be the late Otto Warmbier.
As the president noted post-summit, it was young Otto that the catalyst for the two leaders meeting in the first place. As reported by NBC News, Trump credited Warmbier untimely death for making the talks possible;
“Otto Warmbier is a very special person and he will be for a long time in my life. His parents are good friends of mine. I think without Otto, this would not have happened,” Trump told reporters at a Tuesday news conference in Singapore.
“Something happened from that day, was a terrible thing. It was brutal,” the president added. “But a lot of people started to focus on what was going on, including North Korea. I really think that Otto is someone who did not die in vain. He had a lot to do with us today.”
Warmbier’s parents, Fred and Cindy, issued a statement Tuesday, “We appreciate President Trump’s recent comments about our family. We are proud of Otto and miss him. Hopefully something positive can come from this.”
The summit, where Trump and Kim signed a joint statement agreeing to pursue the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, was held on the anniversary of Warmbier’s release.
Warmbier, a 22-year-old University of Virginia student from Ohio, was imprisoned in North Korea in March 2016 after he was arrested for taking a poster from a hotel he was staying in while on a tourist visit to Pyongyang and sentenced to 15 years of hard labor.
However, he was released by North Korea on “humanitarian grounds” in June 2017 and sent home in a coma, where doctors described his condition as “unresponsive wakefulness.” He died days later on June 19, and it is still not known what exactly killed him.
Seriously, I’ve got nothing against black people in general or any other racial or ethnic group. But there is a specific circumstance where I’m an absolute, first-class bigot.
I despise mindless drones who willfully surrender their ability for critical thinking just so they can follow the rest of the hive.
Sure looks like LeBron James and Steph Curry have forgotten that not all that long ago, black Americans loved everything Trump.
I certainly won’t insult the readers’ intelligence by posting all those pics that numerous black citizens-of-note who leapt when it came time for a photo-op with The Donald. The same pics are easily found by way of a simple image search.
Anyhow, like the bleating sheep that they are, James and Curry have answered the call by the unholy trinity of the Establishment Media, Al Sharpton and Nancy Pelosi ordering the slave-mentality minded to condemn everything Trump.
Case in point: ESPN is singing the praises of James and Curry for both announcing that neither of their respective teams will visit mean ol’ Trump when the 2018 NBA champs will eventually be crowned later this month.
These two dim-wits are about as edgy as a bowling ball.
Predictably, the rest of the Establishment Media is screaming in the faces of whoever will listen to them how cool it is to boycott the White House.
But wait… is that the same ESPN who pilloried goaltender Tim Thomas of the 2012 NHL Stanley Cup winners, the Boston Bruins? Yep, sure is.
Quicker than you could say double standard,Joe McDonald of ESPN penned back in January of 2012, his article entitled “Tim Thomas put himself above team”;
But when the president of the United States invites you and all your teammates to the White House to honor your Stanley Cup championship, you go and represent the team.
On Monday, Thomas instead chose to represent himself.
Goalie Tim Thomas declined the invitation, however, calling into question his choice to place his own political leanings over a team event.
Never missing a chance to hate on white folks, even the lily-white Leftie English at The Guardian chimed in;
In so boldly declaring himself an individual who made choices only on his behalf, Thomas neglected the very first and basic rule of sports: It’s a team game. You win as a team, you lose as a team, and you say hello to the president as a team. Thomas was a stand out in the Bruins’ Stanley Cup campaign, but he did it as part of a collective.
Hmm… “as part of a collective.” Locutus of the Borg couldn’t have said it any better.
But then there’s this gem by Dave Hodge of Canada’s TSN;
Don’t know if it’s fair to point this out, but Tim Thomas has three children named Kiley, Kelsey and Keegan.
It’s glaringly obvious that the Deep State, and their predictable coterie of bootlickers, ass-kissers and brown-nosers from Hollywood, the Establishment GOP, and the MSM, have a deep-seated, burning hate for our president.
The rabid NeverTrump media were giddy as schoolgirls when the word got out that Donald and Melania weren’t on the guest list to the nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Oddly enough, when the same word got out that Barry and Meeshie didn’t make the list either, nary a whisper from the leftie press.
Despite failing to make the cut, the Trumps still showed class by sending the happy couple the traditional gift American presidents have sent to royal weddings, the official glass bowl of the current POTUS, as reported by Monica Showalter of The American Thinker (and also verified by London’s The Daily Star).
As it turns out, that’s what the Trumans sent Liz and Phil a bowl when they got hitched, as did the Reagans when Chuck and Di tied the knot.
But as it turns out, the Trumps went a step further.
As reporter Showalter correctly cited, Harry and Meghan have asked that in lieu of gifts, to instead contribute to one of their seven favored charities (also verified by People magazine), which is exactly what the Trumps did.
To which specific charity and the amount donated has not been made public, which is the way any charitable donation should be.
Anyhow, Showalter (a crackerjack reporter in her own right) noticed something a bit odd going on with the media on both sides of the pond;
But after all the wall-to-wall speculation about whether he or President Obama would get an invitation, and quite a few in the press thought President Obama would, the press was curiously silent about whether President Obama was just as magnanimous as President Trump. I Googled and Googled, and nada, zip, nothing. If he sent a present, the press is weirdly derelict of duty, because we know that the journalists would have told us about it. The Obamas made much of their supposed friendship with the royals during the Invictus Games in Canada not too long ago. Well, with all that friendship, pretty strange we aren’t hearing about them sending a wedding gift. Given the press’s suckuppery to the Obama clan, doesn’t it seem likely that if they gave a gift, the press would report it?
Nope, the evidence for now is that the Obamas sent nothing. This would be about par for them. They never gave their kids Christmas gifts, for one. And the previous gifts they gave to the royal family have been utterly tacky – tapes of Obama’s speeches on iPods and other junk nobody in his right mind would keep. They aren’t good at this.
You’d think they’d be bigger about it anyway.
Thus far, nothing from the press. Maybe we will hear about a gift sent late, after people start to notice. For now, what a cheapskate.
I sometimes get the distinct impression that if President Trump discovered a $5 cure for cancer, the Fake News Media would attack him for putting oncologists out of work.
Case in point: NBC reporter Hallie Jackson just attacked the Chief Executive for “choreographing” a “staged production meant for television” when he and the First Lady greeted the just-freed American prisoners held by North Korea’s Kim Jong-in.
NBC News star Hallie Jackson said that President Trump’s wee-hours greeting of the three American prisoners who’d been held in North Korea was a “very carefully choreographed,” “staged production meant for television.”
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland early Thursday with Kim Dong Chul, Kim Hak Song and Tony Kim, and they were greeted by the president, first lady Melania Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. The NBC News White House correspondent harped on the fact that the event was televised.
“It was a moment of intense anticipation … very carefully choreographed, right? The vice president landed, the president, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and then that plane carrying these three American citizens,” Jackson said on MSNBC. “Donald Trump is a former reality show producer. This was a staged production meant for television, meant for the cameras, meant to be shown and seen here in this country and around the world.”
Obviously, this chick’s never seen the video of Barry Hussein Obama’s Rose Garden glaringly staged event for the parents of Bowe Bergdahl.
