CNN’s Sally Kohn has been attempting to school Donald Trump as of late on what exactly Sharia Law is. Not only in her well publicized CNN op/ed piece, but on social media as well. Continue reading “Petition calls for CNN’s Sharia-friendly Kohn live in a Sharia nation for one week”
“You know Sharia law? You know we could kidnap you?”
The alleged “refugees” in the Twin Cities are making headlines for two different reasons, but with Islamic jihad as the common thread.
- Muslim males between the ages of 18-40 volunteering to wage jihad in the Middle East and North Africa.
- Muslim males between the ages of 18-40 volunteering to wage jihad in the state of Minnesota.
The notion of honor killing under Islam’s strict Sharia Law may not strike most Westerners as not only an alien concept, but often downright cruel and coldblooded. Case in point would be the death of a young woman in the Middle East whose father physically stopped rescuers from saving his daughter’s life for fear of “strange men” touching her, thereby dishonoring the family’s good name.
While the northern states of Nigeria have been awash in blood at the hands of the ISIS-allied Boko Haram terrorist organization, many in the West may be surprised that more than a few Islamic Shari’a Law courts have been officially recognized by the government, and that the same Koran compliant courts aren’t afraid to sentence people to death. As reported by the Breitbart news portal n June 30, 2015, and also the All Africa news aggregate service on June 29, 2015, both the terrorists and civil authorities in the war-torn African nation are ensuring death for those who speak ill of Islam and/or Mohammed.
With the Texas State Legislature making headlines across the nation due to House Bill 562 moving forward to the Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence Committee, the spotlight in Islamic Shari’a law and its possible implementation in American criminal and/or civil law is making headlines in other states. As reported by Sarita Chourey of the Morris News Service via the Athens (Georgia) Banner Herald on March 11, 2015, both the Palmetto and the Peach States are introducing proposals that would ensure that Islamic Shari’a law, as well as any other “foreign laws and foreign forum selection” from being used within their respective states.
Possibly not using the same style of converting unbelievers that Saint Francis Xavier used, fanatical Islamic jihadists in Australia have reportedly threatened a parliamentarian with decapitation unless she converts to Islam, and then champion’s instituting Shari’a law Down Under. As reported by Radio New Zealand and also Sky News of Australia, both on March 1, 2015, Senator Jacqui Lambie, and Independent from the island state of Tasmania, has responded to threats communicated to her by letting the self described “mujahiddin” understand in no uncertain terms that she has no intention of backing down or to be cowed by their threats. As the legislator stated to the press, “I will continue to speak out about the threat that supporters of Islamic State and Sharia law pose to the Australian democratic culture and people.”
While more than a few Western cultural trendsetters revel in painting a Catholic woman sporting a Mantilla-style chapel veil, or a Protestant wearing their proverbial Sunday best, or a Jew wearing a yarmulke as some sorts of Dark Ages throwbacks, the same vanguard of Western progressivism gives scant attention when overt discrimination and oppression of women emanates from an Islamic dominated government. Case in point: The Saudi Arabian Airlines, operating under the name Saudia, will bow to pressure from influential Islamic fundamentalists and will now officially forbid women from sitting next to men who aren’t either their husbands or mahrem (Arabic for “male guardian”).
There are hard core Unionists in the North of Ireland. Then there’s Unionists that take loyalty to Queen and Country to the next level and really don’t care whose feelings get hurt due to their overt and conspicuous patriotism. Few would argue that the First Deputy of Northern Ireland Peter Robinson is the latter, not the former. The Belfast Telegraph reported on May 29, 2014, as well as a follow-up report on May 30, 2014, that the Orangeman left little doubt where he stood regarding the followers of Mohammed in relation to residing Ulster.
Photo: “This is me committing a crime,” wrote a girl who posted an image of herself sitting in the middle of a secluded road in Nour Forest in northern Iran, with her headscarf resting on her shoulder.
In a nation whose citizens are figuratively scared to death of the tax collectors, over 100 women are putting their freedom where their mouths are by taking a very public stand against the Islamic Republic of Iran by simply removing their headscarves (hijabs). As reported by News Corp Australia on May 14, 2014, well over 100 women in the Islamic Republic have posted their photographs on a social network site that very well could be the catalyst for ensuring they could be fined, jailed, flogged, or any combination thereof.
The Hollywood elite finally discovers what the Right has been warning of…
Barack Obama is surely use to Republicans opposing many of his initiatives, but when more-than-a-few members of the GOP align themselves with the likes of the notoriously hard left-leaning members of Congress such as Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) as well as more than a few leftist labor unions and green-friendly environmentalist groups, namely, the Sierra Club, the Natural Resource Defense Council and the World Wide Fund for Nature, that may be a signal for the Chief Executive to take pause. As reported by the San Diego Gay & Lesbian News (SDGLN.com) portal on May 8, 2014, and also The Irrawaddy Journal (of Burma) on April 28, 2014, the Obama Administration is moving swiftly but silently to fast-track the Sultanate of Brunei, officially named The Nation of Brunei, the Abode of Peace, to full membership in the Trans-Pacific Partnership. And that special trade agreement that would “bind the U.S. to Brunei and give the Islamic Sultanate special economic privileges.”
“The vigilantes doused the duo with ‘sewage,’ apparently raw human waste…”
In what appears to most Western eyes as a scene straight out of the seventh century, a yet to be identified victim of a gang-raping is facing the very real possibility of being at the receiving end of a public whipping for violating Islam’s über-strict Shari’a Law. As reported by both Ireland’s Raidió Teilifís Éireann News Service (RTÉ) and also the Paris-based Agence France-Presse (AFP) via The Straights Times (of Singapore) on May 6, 2014, the Indonesian sexual assault victim may face as many as 9 strokes to her bare back and buttocks for allegedly violating the Islamic legal code against adultery.
With quite the history of issuing his share of über-fundamentalist Islamic fatwas (religious rulings), Egypt’s Sheikh Yasser Burhami’s latest edict may have landed him in more hot water than he’s prepared to deal with. As reported on 25 April, 2014 by the Royal House of Saud-owned Al Arabiya news portal (of the United Arab Emirates), and also by the Nigerian-based Naij news service, the Islamic cleric is also the Vice President of the influential and notoriously hard-core Al-Da’
In the eyes of Saudi Arabian jurisprudence, Sheikh Fayhan al-Ghamdi has been released from 13 months in jail and subsequently cleared of his rape, torture and murder conviction against his daughter due to the “blood money” he paid out to his former wife, as reported by the International Business Times (of London, UK) on March 10, 2014.
“Disgraceful and outrageous acts …”
If the mother of Thamar Zeidan is to be believed, her husband’s savage murder of their daughter was perpetrated only due to the “tremendous pressure” placed on him by fellow villagers to restore family honor, as reported on Dec. 19, 2013 by both The National Post (of Ottawa, Canada) and The Jewish Journal (of Los Angeles, CA).
Accused of “disgraceful and outrageous acts” over fifty extended family members in the dusty and drab little hamlet of Deir Al Ghusun signed a petition that was posted in at least five mosques that Thamar’s father, Munther, execute his own child.
Herself divorced four years ago, Thamer had to surrender custody of her 3 children to her ex-husband in order for her Islamic law marriage be finalized.
Since living with her parents, Thamer became romantically linked with Iyad Na’lweh, a married laborer who worked in Israel, and had a wife and children residing in Jordan.
Na’Iweh “promised her that if she became his second wife (legal in Islamic law) he would help her get her children back.”Late last summer, Na’lweh was seen outside Zeidan’s house one evening.
That’s when the rumors against both Thamer and her possible second husband were ginned up, reportedly by her ex-in-laws still stinging over her divorce from their son.
Besides accusing the deceased of “disgraceful and outrageous acts,” the petition went on to demand of Munther that he “reinstate the cultural and religious morals in his family.”
In other words, he had to kill his daughter.
As if the ex’s family coming down on her wasn’t bad enough, she also expressed her desire to re-marry to her family only to find them nixing her plans on their belief he had a strictly verboten problem with alcohol.
As reported, “It is not clear if they had a physical relationship, although the autopsy showed no recent sexual relations.”
Nonetheless, according to Thamer’s sister, Suad Mohammed, their father killed the pretty 32-year-old by placing “one hand on her mouth and he choked her with the other hand.”
Thamer and Suad’s mother defended her husband’s Sharia-compliant killing:
My husband is a peaceful man and this is completely out of character, but the pressure was too intense.
But not all family members were of like emotional response.
Thamer’s aunt threw a celebration feast due to the family’s honor having finally been restored.
“Standard Sharia Law punishment for adultery for a woman is slowly stoning her to death…”
India Today published on Nov. 28, 2013 that a listing has recently been compiled in Egypt of some of the more puritanical Islamic Fatwa’s issued during the presidency of now deposed leader Mohamed Morsi.
During Morsi’s brief stint as president, the Muslim Brotherhood and the equally violently straight laced Salafists issued blatantly anti-women fatwas on a regular basis.
Arguably leading the list was the Fatwa (Islamic religious ruling) issued that noted the Arab word for “sea” is masculine, therefore, if and when sea water comes into contact with a married woman’s pelvic area, she literally committed adultery.
