In the spirit of full disclosure, I’ll come clean and admit I’m not exactly a big fan of Tomi Lahren.
Is she amazingly hot? Well… yeah. It goes without saying that the South Dakota native is a no-doubt-about-it winner in the genetic lottery. But I’m still not a fan.
Does she give Democrats hell? Why, yes she does!
Carefully scripted, well rehearsed, and no one there to counter her arguments. But for the love of God, don’t put her up against someone in a real back-and-forth political argument. The results will be disastrous. For Lahren, that is.
Tomi Lahren: “Stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body”
Tomi is hot. There’s simply no two ways about it. As my Spanish speaking friends say; that girl’s en fuego.
Tomi is also quite the incendiary political commentator. Again with the whole en fuego thing.
The facts that Tomi Lahren is physically attractive as well as quite adept in the art of verbally stirring-up political passions aren’t in question. What is in question here is Lahren’s conservative street cred.
As reported by the Associated Press via the Breitbart.com news portal, the cable news powerhouse, the Fox News Channel has just hired on Lahren as… achem, a “conservative” political commentator.
Fox News Channel has hired conservative commentator Tomi Lahren, who has hosted shows on The Blaze and One America News Network along with working for a political action committee supporting President Donald Trump.
The network said on Wednesday that Lahren will have a “signature role” on a digital product under development and be a commentator on the network’s opinion programming. Her primary home will be on Sean Hannity’s show, where she was to debut on Wednesday.
Lahren, who is 25, has quickly achieved a high profile in the conservative movement following her graduation from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has more than 4 million Facebook followers, and she produces her own videos with commentary on politics and culture.
However, what the Associated Press failed to mention is that there happens to be a certain conservative topic that Lahren has long since ago abandoned: Being pro-life.
In a bit of a stunner, Lahren gave somewhat of a shock to the conservative world when she boldly proclaimed on the screamingly liberal Monday through Friday panel show The View: “Stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body.”
Tomi Lahren, the 24-year-old conservative host of the show “Tomi” on the Blaze, has fiercely criticized the feminist movement. In her trademark fast-talking rants, the commentator has called modern-day feminists selfish, man-hating “snowflakes” and said that “real women don’t wake up and skip work to march for abortions.”
Lahren, an avid Trump supporter, has been called incendiary. It is not unusual for her appearances to incite outrage from the left. But over the weekend, her words provoked fury from an unlikely segment of Americans: the right.
Appearing on “The View” on Friday, Lahren admitted that she supports abortion rights, saying it would be hypocritical of her to believe the government should decide what women should do with their bodies.
“You know what? I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well,” Lahren said.
But the provocative commentator defended herself, tweeting Saturday, “Listen, I am not glorifying abortion. I don’t personally advocate for it. I just don’t think it’s the government’s place to dictate.”
“I speak my truth,” she added on Twitter. “If you don’t like it, tough. I will always be honest and stand in my truth.”
“Conservatives don’t have to exist in a monolith and share the same brain on every issue,” Lahren tweeted. “It’s okay.”
