Army dumps SJW role, new focus: Train to kill bad guys

The Army was into SJW before it was even a thing…

For those who follow this sort of thing, it’s not exactly a big shocker that the US Army has been at the cutting edge of social engineering for decades.

For us old enough to remember the crippling effects of “McNamara’s 100,000,” many wondered if the US military would ever survive Lyndon Johnson’s SecDef Robert Strange McNamara lowering the standards to allow into the armed forces “men with criminal records, medical defects, social maladjustments and psychiatric disorders.”

Nonetheless, the Army welcomed the substandard, the mentally unfit, and the patently stupid with open arms. Another high (low) point for the Democratic Party.

Anyhow, suffice it to say the Army is now on the cutting edge of:

  • Pregnant paratroopers
  • Normalizing the sexually confused
  • Unwed mother ducking deployments
  • Trailblazing the way for boys-who-think-they’re-girls and girls-who think-they’re-boys
  • Commissioning BLM extremists as officers
Black Power salutes. Sixteen black female cadets in uniform at the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y.  The 16 are now commissioned officers in the US Army.

Pay no attention to the fact that the Army paid for Pvt Bradly Manning’s sex change treatment while in a guest at the Cross-Bar Hotel (AKA: Ft Leavenworth), or that Beau Bergdahl, of Obama’s famous “I’ll give you a slew of terrorists for one deserter” fame, was actually kicked out of US Coast Guard Boot Camp very early in training due to “psychological reasons”.

The Army was more than happy to recruit this mental defective. But hey, maybe the Army was running short of ballet dancers.

Shown here is Bowe Bergdahl, with an unidentified dancer, in his ballet days.

Many have openly wondered if the Army would ever shake its self-induced SJW madness.

Maybe they finally have.

While under the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations, the Army focused on small groups of highly trained special ops troops to take on the likes of ISIS, the Taliban, Boko Haram, etc.

But with the fall of the Soviet Union just a handful of years before the War on Terror, the US Army was, well… pretty much out of a job.

Instead of protecting ungrateful Germans from never-ending numbers of Russkie armored and mechanized infantry divisions hammering through the Fulda Gap, the new Army mission was to take up the battle standard of political correctness.

Bubba and Hillary could not have been happier. But along came Donald.

As reported by the Washington Examiner;

Fighting will now take precedence over dealing with transitioning transgender troops, drug abuse and other issues as the Army seeks to overhaul its training regimen to hone its soldiers’ battlefield skills.

In a series of servicewide memorandums approved by Army Secretary Mark Esper and Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley and obtained by The Washington Times, service leaders are making optional previously mandatory training on issues such as transgender transition and drug abuse. The move, Army leaders argue, is designed to relieve stress on the overburdened troop training regimen and refocus on soldiers’ ability to fight in combat.

Army officials are codifying the new marching orders into servicewide training guidelines and doctrine, which will bring the Army more in line with the Pentagon’s new National Defense Strategy, Col. O’Grady said.

The strategy, which was one of Defense Secretary James N. Mattis’ earliest policy initiatives, shifted away from the George W. Bush and Obama-era strategies dominated by battling extremist groups including al Qaeda, the Taliban and Islamic State, and putting the priority on challenging traditional nation-state rivals such as China and Russia. It also placed a greater emphasis on increasing lethality in conventional combat operations.

Along with scaling back noncombat training mandates, service leaders are also extending the time soldiers spend in infantry training. Soldiers graduating from the nine-week basic training course will now spend an additional two months in “advanced individual training” before heading to their first duty stations.

Additional combat training after Recruit Training but before shipping out to PMOS (Primary Military Occupational Specialty) school is something the Marine Corps has been doing for decades.

It’s time to get our troops out of South Korea

For 65 years, the United States has maintained a military force in the Republic of Korea (ROK) that’s always numbered at least in the tens of thousands.

It’s time to bring that to an end.

Of the 28,500 American troops, the overwhelming majority are of the US Army, scattered throughout the nation on dozens of bases, both minor and major. There is also a sizable minority of US Air Force personnel stationed at Osan and Kunsan airbases.

The only others would be a smallish US Navy supply base at the end of the peninsula (in Busan, the ROK’s second largest city), and a microscopic US Marine Corps administrative and liaison facility in Daegu.

With all that aside, one of President Trump’s campaign promises was to start bringing our troops home. The Republic of Korea would be a great place to start.

I’m not advocating this because I’m a dove. I’m anything but.

And while it’s debatable if the South Korean people want us on their soil, it’s a sure bet we aren’t needed there.

On the heels of President Trump’s successful first meeting with NoKo dictator Kim Jung-un, don’t buy off on the liberal media’s hyper-ventilating that without US troops in-country, somehow South Korea is “wide open for invasion!” as I’ve recently heard some twit over at MSNBC breathlessly claim.

As previously stated, we have slightly under 30,000 members of all branches of our armed forces stationed in the Republic… but do you know the size of the ROK military?

Active duty strength alone stands at nearly a two-third of a million (625,000). Reservists number 5.2 million. That’s right, I said million.

Not bad for a nation roughly the size of Minnesota.

In fact, the everything military website GlobalFirePower.com ranks the ROK as the 7th most powerful military force on the planet.

Besides, right behind the ROK is Japan at number eight.

In spite of Japan’s post-WW II constitution forbidding an offensive military, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is doing his level best to amend such. And besides, Japan has one of the most technologically advanced navy and air force, not just in the Far East, but anywhere.

But back to Korea. To add insult to injury, the four million man ROK armed forces isn’t even commanded by a Korean.

A hangover from the Korean War, the United Nations commander of all allied forces in South Korea was and still is an American general.

As cited from the official website of the ROK/US Combined Forces Command;

The CFC is commanded by a four-star U.S. general, with a four-star ROK Army general as deputy commander.

Regardless that South Korean troops outnumber American troops 22-1, that’s got to be humiliating for our Korean allies.

Take my word for it, the South Koreans are more than capable of defending their own nation.

Besides, if the North Koreans ever do something unbelievably stupid, like invade the south, the 3d Marine Division, the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, and the Navy’s 7th Fleet are right next door in Japan.

Betrayed: Cleared of Murdering Afghan Civilians, Marines Still Slammed by Army Officers, DoD Investigators, Media

Marines of 1st Platoon, Fox Company.
Marines of 1st Platoon, Fox Company, MARSOC.

If I don’t cooperate with them that they were going to do everything in their power to ensure that my mother would be deported. – US Marine threatened by military investigators.

As any Marine will tell you, it’s never a good thing when the enemy is making every attempt to kill you. And as the fighting Leathernecks of 1st Platoon, Fox Company will make equally clear, it’s worse when your own officers and government want you dead. Making the entire episode all the more disgusting, most Americans don’t even know anything about this.

We have met the enemy, and they are us.

From cheerleader to Army Officer.

A whole new meaning to “Hot Landing Zone”
