Not only did Joy Villa shock Tinsel Town when she recently showed up to the Grammy Awards decked-out in a very Trumpian “Make America Great Again” dress, she also drew the ire of many in the world of entertainment.
Getting the last laugh, Villa’s digital album “I Make the Static” rocketed to #1 on the Amazon and iTunes charts.
But it looks as if the Los Angeles-born singer just may want to get another laugh on the Hollywood liberal elite. Villa appeared on Fox & Friends in regards to her mulling a congressional run.
As reported by Theodore Bunker of NewsMax.com;
Singer Joy Villa, who wore a Make-America-Great-Again-themed dress to the Grammy awards in February, told Fox News’ Ainsley Earhardt on Friday that she’s considering a run for Congress.
“I’m looking at Florida, I’m looking at California and I’m looking at New York, because these are all places I live and work and have grown up in,” Villa said on “Fox & Friends.”
“If I run, I’m going to win,” she added. “There’s such a need for good congressmen, for good people in office who are putting forth the aims of the people, not just their own agenda.”
President Donald Trump wished Villa luck, saying “she has many fans,” early Friday morning.
Good luck to @Joy_Villa on her decision to enter the wonderful world of politics. She has many fans!
