St. Peregrin, ora pro nobis…
Fernando Tatis, Jr. is one of those players the San Diego Padres expect to be not only a star in the future, but a superstar.
From the way he interacted with a certain and still anonymous fan, he’s already achieved superstar status.
Not forgetting that the fans are really what it’s all about, the second-year shortstop dutifully walked the fan line and couldn’t help but see a young lady holding a sign stating: “All I want for CHEMO is for TATIS to sign my BALD HEAD!”
Apparently fighting breast cancer (pink ribbon on her sign), the young lady in question certainly appears to be strong and well on her way to a full recovery. In the meantime, as someone who’s had two different cancers, believe me when I say that prayers are always appreciated.
It's not "just" spring training.
It's about these moments. 🤎 pic.twitter.com/veBXa05Yfr
