Maryland GOP candidate for the 7th Congressional District, Kim Klacik, may be new to the no-holds-barred world of running for political office, but she’s no newbie to Democrat dirty tricks.
Apparently, someone has been busy on social media using a fake Twitter account that’s supposedly Klacil’s.The fraudulent account is claiming that Klacik has already won the special election, thereby convincing at least some pro-Klacik voters that the election is now past tense.
But in reality, the election against Democrat ex-Congressman Kweisi Mfume is scheduled for 28 April, 2020.
Both Klacik and Mfume seek to fill the seat of the late Elijah Cummings, who passed away 17 Oct, 2019. Cummings held the 7th district’s House seat for nearly 25 years.
For her part, Klacik gained national notoriety when she filmed just how filthy, crime-ridden, and rat-infested Maryland’s 7th Congressional District really is and has been during the combined 33-years Mfume and Cummings represented the west-end of Baltimore (see video at the end of this article).
Maryland’s 7th has never been held by a Republican or a woman. Klacik’s official campaign website KimKforCongress.com.
People are posting I won my election. This is FAKE NEWS. This is a democratic strategy to suppress the republican vote.
My election is on April 28th. If you see tweets saying otherwise please report it. Who knew they would be afraid of little ole me?
