Kid Rock (real name: Robert Ritchie) is among a number of music celebrities visiting the Executive Mansion today, to include rapper Kanye West and 70s guitar god Jeff “Skunk” Baxter.
By the way, after leaving the world of Rock ‘N’ Roll, Baxter went on to become a real life ballistic missile expert.
With that aside, as seen in the video below, a yet-to-be identified White House reporter yelled a question to Rock, asking if President Trump should fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
The Michigan-based rocker fired back;
“He should fire you.”
Having briefly flirting with the idea of running for the US Senate as a Republican last year, Rock has since become quite the proponent of businessman and GOP contender John James who will face the incumbent Democrat Senator Debbie Stabenow.
As reported by Fox News;
Rock will continue his support of Trump when he headlines a fundraising event on Wednesday for Republican Senate candidate John James, who President Trump endorsed, in Pontiac, Michigan.
As James notes on his official campaign website, he describes himself as “a pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, pro-business conservative…”
James is also a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point, a Ranger-qualified combat veteran, and former commander of a platoon of Apache attack helicopters he led during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
