I’ve heard some lame accusations in the past, but the one coming out of Rep. Ilhan Omar office is beyond lame. This qualifies as childish whining, and that’s putting it mildly.
As seen below, the pro-Israel organization, the AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), had published an ad that drew off of Omar’s recent accusation that referencing Omar’s comparison of the United States and Israel to the Islamic Jihadist terrorist groups Hamas and the Taliban.
It was then that Omar’s official spokesthing, Jeremy Slevin, took to social media to hammer AIPAC, stating that the group places Omar’s “life at risk.”
Strangely enough, Slevin not only accuses AIPAC of using the same type of “language used in death threats she gets”, but then he posts a supposedly anonymous death threat to Omar directly next to the AIPAC ad.
I have just one question: What the hell does one have to do with the other? One would suspect that Slevin is a big believer of guilt by accusation.
The language AIPAC uses in paid ads to smear and vilify @IlhanMN is virtually identical to the language used in death threats she gets.
Make no mistake: AIPAC is putting Rep. Omar’s life at risk with repeated Islamophobic attack ads. pic.twitter.com/Ehkn8qmW7p
