Here We Go Again: FBI Investigating Sexual Assault by Afghan Evacuees Against Female Soldier

Joe Biden bragged during the 2020 campaign that he would have the most transparent administration in US history. Nonetheless, Afghan refugee sexual crimes are taking an awful lot of time before hitting the press.

Just days ago, it was reported that two different Afghan men in Wisconsin were accused of one of the two with attempting to rape a minor child, and the other of strangling and attempting to suffocate his own wife.

Now we’re being told that last Sunday, a female service member ostensibly assigned to the US Army’s 1st Armored Division out of Fort Bliss, Texas, reported being assaulted by “a small group of male evacuees” while at the Doña Ana Complex in New Mexico.

As reported by TheHill.com (emphasis mine);

The FBI is investigating an alleged assault on a female service member at an Afghan refugee camp in New Mexico.

In a statement to The Hill on Friday, the 1st Armored Division at Fort Bliss, Texas, said that a female service member reported being assaulted by “a small group of male evacuees” while at the Doña Ana Complex in New Mexico on Sunday.

“We take the allegation seriously and appropriately referred the matter to the Federal Bureau of Investigation,” the statement said. “The safety and well-being of our service members, as well as all of those on our installations, is paramount. We immediately provided appropriate care, counseling and support to the service member.”

Fort Bliss also said it is “implementing additional security measures to include increased health and safety patrols, additional lighting, and enforcement of the buddy system at the Dona Ana Complex.”

What I emphasized in the last paragraph, I find quite troubling.

As a retired Marine, I read this to mean that this gal was all by her lonesome, at night, in a poorly lit area, more than likely without a working radio, probably unarmed (not even as much as pepper spray), and completely surrounded by men whose attitude towards women hasn’t changed much since the 9th century.

Someone’s in dire need of a training session of Common Sense 101. But I’ll wager this gal’s alleged enlisted and officer leadership is sufficiently woke.
