With the rather wordy title of “Monitoring Incidence of COVID-19 Cases, Hospitalizations, and Deaths, by Vaccination Status — 13 U.S. Jurisdictions, April 4–July 17, 2021“, a scholarly article on the official CDC website might make more than a few raise their eyebrows.
Hitting the internet on September 17, 2021, this article essentially gives the lowdown on how well the vaccines are working.
Now I may not be an MD or an epidemiologist, but I am smart enough to do simple math.
Specifically, the differences of the vaccinated from early April to mid-June as compared with those vaccinated from mid-June to mid-July;
- The number of those already vaccinated who’ve come down with another bout of COVID-19 has more than tripled.
- The number of those already vaccinated who’ve been hospitalized has doubled.
- The number of those already vaccinated who are DEAD has doubled.
Directly from the above cited official website of the CDC;
During April 4–June 19, fully vaccinated persons accounted for 5% of cases, 7% of hospitalizations, and 8% of deaths overall; these percentages were higher during June 20–July 17 (18%, 14%, and 16%, respectively).
