Be careful what you ask for. Sadly, more than a few LIVs (Low Information Voters AKA “Mouth Breathers“) have totally and completely bought-off on the Lefticrat prayer mantra of “Pay your fair share.”
Nonetheless, we on the right already understand that the top 25 percent pay nearly 90 percent of all personal income taxes.
But, hey… why would the left allow a good propaganda chant go to waste?
In the meantime, John Binder of Breitbart.com reports that despite of all the leftist rhetoric, Biden’s Build Back Better scheme actually sees the Internal Revenue Service stepping-up audits aimed directly at the middle class and working poor.
All the while, Blue State millionaires and billionaires will receive quite the nice slice of a tax break;
President Joe Biden and Democrats are hoping to squeeze an extra $200 billion in tax revenue out of American taxpayers by mostly targeting working and middle class households with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) audits.
As part of Biden’s “Build Back Better Act,” which was already passed by House Democrats, nearly 600,000 more working and middle class Americans earning $75,000 or less a year would be audited by the IRS, an analysis by Republican lawmakers reveals.
“Democrats’ tax and spending spree will more than double Americans’ chances of being audited as it targets lower and middle-income earners,” the analysis states:
- The proposal will lead to an additional 1.2 million IRS audits each year, nearly half of which will hit middle class families making less than $75,000. All this so Democrats can wring an extra $200 billion out of the American people, particularly from middle class families and small businesses.
[Emphasis added]- Biden’s plan to supercharge the IRS with $80 billion in mandatory funding and 87,000 new IRS agents will lead to drastically higher audit rates for all Americans at every income level according to the Congressional Budget Office. [Emphasis added]
Specifically, more than 583,000 of the new IRS audits will target working and middle class Americans earning $75,000 or less. Of those 583,000 new IRS audits, more than 313,000 would target the poorest of Americans who earn $25,000 or less a year.
In addition, Biden’s Build Back Better Act will “mean more than 800,000 more federal tax liens on taxpayer property such as homes and vehicles,” the analysis states.
“The Biden plan will mean more audits of the middle class and lower-income Americans, 800,000 more federal tax liens per year, and more IRS shakedowns of American families and small businesses,” the analysis states.
At the same time, Biden’s Build Back Better Act would provide a $625 billion tax cut for the wealthiest Americans living in blue states — paid for by working and middle class Americans — as a result of an increase in the State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction cap.
The plan gives a tax cut to 66 percent of Americans earning more than $1 million annually while 78 percent of Americans earning $500,000 to $1 million will get a tax cut.
Don’t think that the IRS will rely sonly by the very scary notion that the citizenry will knuckle-under simply because the IRS happens to be auditing you.
As Americans for Tax Reform noted less than two weeks ago, the IRS is gearing-up to a strength that would make the military of a small nation jealous;
The IRS has stockpiled 4,600 guns and five million rounds of ammunition as of Jan. 1, 2019 according to a report from OpenTheBooks published in 2020. With Democrats calling for $80 billion in additional funding and the hiring of 87,000 new IRS agents, how much will this arsenal grow?
The Democrats’ push to increase the size and power of the IRS has significant criminal justice and basic due process ramifications.
The current 4,600-gun stockpile includes 3,282 pistols, 621 shotguns, 539 rifles, 15 fully automatic firearms, and four revolvers.
According to the Government Accountability Office the ammunition breakdown is as follows:
Pistol and revolver rounds: 3,151,500
Rifle rounds: 1,472,050
Shotgun rounds: 367,750
Fully automatic firearm rounds: 56,000
