Official CDC Notice: ‘Police Power’ to be Used at Quarantine Stations for the ‘Benefit of Society’

Australian police, already on the cutting-edge of violating basic human rights.

Totalitarianism is the new normal…

In spite of the Supreme Court recently hearing oral arguments in regards to Joe Biden’s questionable mask mandates, Big Government is full-speed ahead normalizing the Nazi-esque forcible lock-down of American citizens guilty of little more than recognizing that naturally acquired antibody immunity is a real thing.

In a section of the CDC’s official website titled Legal Authorities for Isolation and Quarantine, the federal government makes crystal clear their intent to initiate “police power” against those “who have or may have a contagious disease” (emphasis mine);

Isolation and quarantine help protect the public by preventing exposure to people who have or may have a contagious disease.

Hmmm… “contagious disease”, like the common cold?

Isolation separates sick people with a quarantinable communicable disease from people who are not sick.

“Communicable disease.” Does that include HIV/AIDS, gonorrhea, syphilis, etc.?

Quarantine separates and restricts the movement of people who were exposed to a contagious disease to see if they become sick.

“Quarantine separates and restricts the movement of people…” Does anyone at the CDC know about something called ‘the writ of habeas corpus’?

In addition to serving as medical functions, isolation and quarantine also are “police power” functions, derived from the right of the state to take action affecting individuals for the benefit of society.

Wow, “for the benefit of society.” That sounds like something out of Stalin’s Soviet Union. Fairly evident that the CDC at least read the CliffsNotes version of “1984”. Illegally locking someone up for the benefit of society sure sounds like a case of doublespeak to me.

The federal government derives its authority for isolation and quarantine from the Commerce Clause of the U.S. Constitution.

Gang, here is what the Commerce Clause actually states. There is absolutely nothing about contagious diseases, communicable diseases, dropping the burden of proof from the Constitution, or even whatever given instance “for the benefit of society.”
