Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) represents California’s 45th Congressional District, encompassing the inland sections of the once Republican stronghold of Southern California’s Orange County.
Interestingly enough, Porter seems to give the impression that she’s living in early 19th Century London.
Just me, but I’m not sure if Porter thinks she’s living in one of the following;
- Charles Dickens’ novel, Oliver Twist
- Jonathon Swift’s essay, A Modest Proposal (or, For preventing the children of poor people in Ireland, from being a burden on their parents or country, and for making them beneficial to the publick.)
- Margaret Sanger’s pro-eugenics political work, The Pivot of Civilization: Birth Control
Then we have the so-called “Pro-Choice Caucus” of the US Congress doing their level best to shit on your shoes, but call it a spit-shine.
Obviously, it’s time to sugar-coat the language of infanticide;
NEW: The Pro Choice Caucus has just sent out messaging materials to House Dems on Roe draft.
One of the recommendations: Don’t use “choice.” pic.twitter.com/nqVA8W1nWT

For her part, Mercedes Schlapp breaks down in a singular sentence just how badly America is slouching towards Gomorrah;
In Joe Biden’s America, it’s easier to get an abortion and a free crack pipe than it is to feed your baby.
