(VIDEO) Defund the Police; HARD CORE Leftist NYC Politician Moves Out of Harlem Due to ‘Safety Issues’

There’s liberal… there’s progressive… there’s leftist… then there’s full-blown American-hating Marxist.

Just my personal opinion, but I believe that New York Assemblywoman Yuh-Line Niou (D-Lower Manhattan) is an unapologetic totalitarian, complete with Stalin’s love of dachas, as well as Brezhnev’s insatiable desire for Cadillacs.

As seen in the video at the end of this article, Niou’s hyper-leftism is on full display. With that said, she’s also got that nasty hypocrite gene that so many Communists-in-power have had throughout the years.

In this case, Niou made her political bones by advocating the defund the police hysteria.

But interestingly enough, Niou just bugged-out of her Harlem digs to the much safer confines of Downtown Manhattan’s Financial District, popularly known as the Fi-Di, due to “safety issues.”

Some of the more specific news of the gross deceit was published by reporter Sam Raskin of the New York Post (emphasis mine);

A left-wing state lawmaker who has pushed for cutting police funding first moved to the district she is seeking to represent in Congress because “safety issues” near “the projects” in Harlem prompted her to shack up with her tech bro then-fiancé in the Financial District, The Post has learned.

Assemblywoman Yuh-Line Niou (D-Lower Manhattan) told a local publication in 2016 — when she was campaigning to initially get elected to her current seat — that she headed to the wealthier Manhattan neighborhood because she witnessed a pair of disturbing crimes and fell victim to one.

“I actually was robbed when I was living in Harlem. My boyfriend at the time, my fiancé, didn’t think I was safe up there, so he told me to move in, and so that’s how I moved to the Financial District with him,” she explained in an interview with the Lo-Down NY. “He was already living there.”

Assemblywoman Yuh-Line Niou is seeking to represent in Congress because “safety issues” near “the projects” in Harlem prompted her to move in with her fiancé in the Financial District.

Four years later, the since-updated issues section for her most recent Assembly campaign read, “She believes that we are long overdue for police reform in this country and that we need to defund millions from the police in order to put critical funding back into our social services, education, and housing.”

David Segura.

Niou — who since 2017 has represented the 65th District, which includes the Financial District, Battery Park City, Chinatown, and the Lower East Side — was engaged at the time to David Segura, who founded Giant Media.

In an October 2012 report, Segura predicted the company would make $8 million in its third year. The advertising technology company was sold in 2014 for an “undisclosed sum.”

Just so I understand this correctly, a white, rich, heterosexual man had to come to her rescue.

Have I pretty much pegged it?
