When is being a hard-core social justice activist not enough? Apparently, social justice equates to even when being robbed and eventually murdered, allowing the miscreants to continue to prey on others.
One of the oldest news organizations in California, KRON News of San Francisco, is reporting of the initial robbery and subsequent murder of an Oakland baker and small business owner, Jen Angel.
Long story short, while in her car, an unidentified thief broke into her car, grabbed her purse, then ran to a waiting getaway car.
Jen Angel stood her ground.
It was then that the VICTIM ran towards the getaway vehicle to take back her stolen property. Fairly obvious that Angel had no intention of allowing herself to be violently robbed in broad daylight.
The thugs then literally dragged Jen Angel to her death.
Interestingly enough, while KRON cites “family and friends” of the victim not wanting the still at-large perpetrators to be tried in criminal court, KRON fails to name any of the family and friends.
In true woke style, when the Oakland Police Department was directly quoted by KRON, the OPD never referred to Angel as “she” or “her,” only as “their” and “they.”
Jen Angel, a beloved local bakery owner and social justice community activist, died on Thursday from injuries she suffered in a violent robbery, according to her close friends. She was 48.
On Monday, Angel was sitting inside her car behind a bank on Webster Street in Oakland when a thief broke into the car and grabbed her purse. The robber darted into a getaway vehicle that was waiting nearby, police said.
“The victim exited their vehicle and attempted to retrieve their stolen belongings from the individual. While the victim struggled for their belongings, they were knocked to the ground and sustained injuries,” the Oakland Police Department told KRON4.
Angel was dragged by the getaway car. The entire incident happened in broad daylight.

Angel was well known in the Bay Area as a champion of social justice.
Oakland police said no arrests have been made in connection to the deadly robbery.
If a suspect is arrested by police, Angel’s family said she would not want her assailant to be prosecuted in criminal court. Angel did not believe in incarceration as an effective or just solution to social violence and inequity.
