As just about every other political junkie is already aware, Taiwan’s presidential candidate Lai Ching-te of the very pro-independence (and anti-Beijing) Democratic Progressive Party has just been elected to the presidency of the island republic.
Needless to say, Xi Jingping and the Chinese Communist Party are less than thrilled with the outcome. Of that, no one is surprised in the least.
But what is catching more than a few off-balanced would be the 180° flip-flop by Slow Joe Biden.
Just me, but I’m under the impression that what Joe said last year was just a knee-jerk reaction to a tough question. His more recent opinion is more in line with what he’s been told by his masters as to what his opinion really is.
I wonder what the next year will be like now that Comrade Biden now has the correct revolutionary mindset.
