Now that I’ve cancelled both cable and satellite TV, not only am I saving quite a bit of money, but if there is any given news organization I want to watch, I don’t have corporate media pointing me in their direction.
One of those news organizations would be GB News. The best thing about them, they’re free. That’s right… free access via Youtube.
But back to the topic at hand, quite the interesting panel discussion of mostly young Brits discussing DEI (Diversity, Equite, Inclusion) in Great Britain. Specifically, within the British armed forces.
Without fail, professional soy boy, Benjamin Butterworth, opined that the UK military has the responsibility to reflect in its ranks the diversity of the British populous.
Thankfully, former MEP Belinda de Lucy proved she has more testosterone in her little finger than Butterworth has in his past four generations.
Nonetheless, Butterworth insisted that the British military should be a reflection the population.
How interesting. Britain’s population sits at 67 million.
Here’re some numbers I’d like to share; according to the latest stats from Statista.com, the number of those in the UK suffering from blindless and vision impaired sits at a whopping 4.2 million.
That’s 15.95 percent of the British public.
Furthermore, according to the official site for Britain’s National Health Service, obesity and morbid obesity sit at 28 percent and three percent, respectively.
- 28 percent of 67 million 18,760,000
- 3% of 67 million is 2.01 million
Please keep in mind that this isn’t just for those that are overweight… this is for the obese and morbidly obese.
In a separate article from Statista.com, in United Kingdom, the median age of the population is 39-and-a-half-years-old.
As noted by the Down Syndrome Medical Interest Group, 167,500 people in the UK have been diagnosed with Down Syndrome. That’s 0.25 percent of the UK.
According to Butterworth’s logic, slightly more than 1-in-6 in the British armed forces MUST be actually blind or at least legally blind.
According to Butterworth’s logic, nearly 1-in-3 in the British armed forces MUST be at a minimum, obese.
According to Butterworth’s logic, nearly 1-in-30 in the British armed forces MUST be morbidly obese.
According to Butterworth’s logic, exactly half of the British armed forces MUST be at or older than 39-years and 6-months old.
According to Butterworth’s logic, one out of every 400 members of the British armed forces MUST be diagnosed with Down Syndrome.
After all, isn’t it the progressive dream come true that the very troops that will defend out Western democracies consist of more than a few middle-aged, blind, and grossly overweight troops with learning disabilities?
