Boston, Mass; Reporting Black Moms for Child Abuse is Now ‘Structural Racism’

Could you imagine what your life would be like if your own mother made you a junkie?

The Left institutionalizes child abuse…

The woke mob never ceases to amaze me. Their virtue signaling has run the gamut from the mildly amusing to disgustingly pathetic. So far, here’re just a few examples of what they consider as white racism directed specifically towards black people;

  • Drinking white milk in front of black people.
  • Saying ‘Good morning’ to black people.
  • Smiling at black people.

Well, mis amigos… here’s another; any given white medical professional reporting black mothers for child abuse.

As it turns out, one of the more prestigious hospitals in all of New England, Mass General Brigham of Boston, Massachusetts, has just made public their most recent policy. Stunningly, coming down hard on hospital staff who “unwittingly perpetuate structural racism” of mothers who abuse their own child/children.

But wait, there’s more.

Just for you to be aware, Mass General Brigham hospital’s Dr. Allison Bryant, MD, MPH (Master of Public Health), also has quite the impressive tertiary title of the Associate Chief Health Equity Officer.

Wait… what in the hell is “health equity”? I certainly can wrap my brain around administrative equity; hiring equity; even educational equity, but heath equity?

“Thanks for screwing me up, Mom.”

I guess if statisticians note that if, oh let’s say there’s a higher number of blacks being diagnosed with Stage IV liver cancer than that of white people.

Will this hospital now somehow purposefully pump active cancer cells into X amount of white folks so things will be more equitable?

I hope to hell not (sarcasm, off).

Anyhow, here’s a bit of said policy just released (emphasis mine)

As a part of our United Against Racism effort to achieve health equity for patients and communities across our system, we have prioritized health conditions with the greatest racial disparities in outcomes and are addressing policies that may unwittingly perpetuate structural racism.

Substance use disorder (SUD) is a condition with significant racial and ethnic inequities, especially in the context of pregnancy, when more punitive approaches to substance use disproportionately affect Black individuals.

Studies — including some within our system — have found that Black pregnant people are more likely to be drug tested and to be reported to child welfare systems than white pregnant people.

Furthermore, as reported by RedState.com, enter Dr. Sarah Wakeman, MD, the Senior Medical Director for Substance Use Disorder for Mass General Brigham who added;

Our new perinatal testing and reporting policy is the latest step in our efforts to address longstanding inequities in substance use disorder care and to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to families while addressing substance use disorder as a treatable health condition.

This policy reflects an emerging consensus, based on sound science, that is being embraced by our peer institutions and was developed in coordination with a wide range of partners.

Just me, but are the abused children ever factored into any of this utter insanity?
