I understand that emotions are raw and tempers are at a boiling point, especially with alleged “students” from coast-to-coast proving that Generation Time-Out was a total failure. Something to be said for Generation Ass-Whoopin’.
Doubly so when we see some mouthpiece for Hamas in the video below, teaching Americans how to chant “Death to America” in the Farsi tongue (Persian).
Between Rashida Tlaib hating the same nation that’s been so good to her, to Mike Johnson caving over-and-over to placate the Democrats, this really is time for everyone to take a breath.
That’s why I’m glad to see Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) take a principled stance and vote against the Antisemitism Awareness Act of 2023 (H.R. 6090).
Even though I firmly support Israel killing every Hamas scumbag they drag from under the rocks they hide under, MTG makes the reason why she voted the way she did pretty straightforward and to the point (as seen in the tweet below).
After all, fighting Jewish hate doesn’t mean you open the door for Christian hate.
If you’re having trouble reading the small print, here it is;
9. Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g., claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis.
Antisemitism is wrong, but I will not be voting for the Antisemitism Awareness Act of 2023 (H.R. 6090) today that could convict Christians of antisemitism for believing the Gospel that says Jesus was handed over to Herod to be crucified by the Jews.
