(VIDEO) Mayorkas-led DHS Now Searching for 400 Illegals Smuggled to US by ISIS Network

Coming as a shock to no one with even a lick of common sense, it turns out that the Biden Administration is admitting that some 400+ illegals were smuggled into the United States by… wait for it… agents of the ISIS terrorist network.

As much as this really bothers me, I can’t help but get the feeling that the 2018 political-thriller Sicario: Day of the Soldado will end up as a prophetic warning.

Reported by Anna Giaritelli of the Washington Examiner (via MSN.com);

Department of Homeland Security officials are aware of more than 400 illegal immigrants who were smuggled into the United States at the southern border by an ISIS-affiliated network — most of whom remain at large in the country, according to a new report.

Federal law enforcement is internally tracking and arresting migrants who were released into the U.S. after being encountered at the U.S.-Mexico border. To date, 150 of the 400 have been found and arrested in communities nationwide, but the whereabouts of 50 others are unknown, according to NBC News.

OK, I’ll readily admit that I suck at math. But even I can figure out that 150+50=200. So what’s up with the 200+ unaccounted for?

The smirk.

Assuming that reporter Giaritelli may have made a typo, maybe she really meant that 250 are really at large. So, I went to the source document she cited.

Reporters  and  of NBC News co-authored their report plainly stating of the 400+ allowed into our nation;

While over 150 of them have been arrested, the whereabouts of over 50 remain unknown, the officials said, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement is looking to arrest them on immigration charges when they are located.

The simple addition and subtraction ended there.

But to their credit, at the very end of their article, they did note the following;

Some of the 150 who were arrested have already been deported, the officials said. The whereabouts of other people in 17 states are known, and they may be arrested soon. Other migrants may have already left the U.S. voluntarily.

Some of those detained or deported to date have been charged with immigration violations. None have been charged with terrorism-related offenses.

The words “some” and “may” were heavily sprinkled in just two paragraphs.

Well, that certainly has put my concerns to rest. But I’m still concerned that simple addition and subtraction isn’t a requirement to work at NBC.
