Sen. Lara Trump? Works for me…
By now, pretty much everyone is aware that Pres. Trump has nominated Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) to be the next Secretary of State. What some are unaware of, it’s the sole choice of the governor of Florida to name a replacement for the remainder of Rubio’s tenure.
On a related note, some are unaware that just last year, Lara Trump and Michael Whatley were recently elected as the co-chairs of the RNC, thankfully replacing Rona McDaniel.
But just a handful of days ago, Lara Trump has resigned her co-chairmanship, as noted by Holly Honderich of Britain’s BBC.
Now things get really interesting. Lara and Eric Trump just so happen to be Florida residents (they own quite the mansion in Jupiter, Fla).
With all that said, whispers in the corridors of power are flying fast and furious that it will be Mrs. Trump who’ll fill Sen. Rubio’s final four years in the US Senate. Of course, only if and when he’s approved by vote of the same to be our next Sec. of State.
