One dozen cops and soldiers watch as one bag is searched.
Just yesterday I posted of how great it is that Curtis Sliwa is bringing back his Guardian Angels (unarmed) vigilante patrols.
I also posted just yesterday that in true Democrat fashion, 1,250 police officers and New York National Guardsmen have been assigned to the subway system, allegedly to “stop crime.”
File this under FWIW, the additional LEOs and Guardsmen don’t walk the platforms, nor do they patrol the trains. Their sole purpose in life is to be posted at some of the subway entrances… then they only randomly search purses, briefcases and backpacks.
Perhaps proving what a cruel joke this 1,250 additional TSA-wannabes are to the people of Gotham, just today a man was shoved into an oncoming train (of course, no cops or Guardsmen in sight).
As reported by Jorge Fitz-Gibbon, Amanda Woods and Joe Marino of the New York Post;
A Big Apple straphanger is in critical condition after he was shoved onto Manhattan subway tracks and struck by an incoming 1 train — with the horrifying attack caught in disturbing footage.
In what cops are calling a random attack, an unidentified 45-year-old man was at the 18th Street station shortly after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday when the hooded thug pushed him onto the tracks.
Cops responded to a 911 call and the victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he is in critical condition but stable, the NYPD said.
