(VIDEO) Pretend ‘Bishop’ Spreads More Fake News, Insults Latinos

Of course, NPR took an off-center photo to show all the books she’s never read…

Mariann Edgar Budde, the pretend bishop of Washington, DC, recently wagged her finger at Pres. Trump, saying he should exercise “mercy’, “compassion” and “empathy” on those who’ve violated 8 U.S. Code § 1325, as reported by the notoriously left-leaning NPR.org.

According to Budde, they are; “The people who pick our crops…”

Interestingly enough, according to the Gifford Center for Population Studies at the Univ. of California-Davis, (not exactly a hotbed of conservative thought) published a scholarly article on Apr. 24, 2024 entitled Farm Labor Issues in the 2020s – Summary Report, stating quite a revealing stat to the non-farming populace of America.

As cited by the same report (emphasis mine);

  • Robot fruit picking efficiency or the percentage of marketable fruits and vegetables that are detected in comparison to hand pickers, who are assumed to detect 90%+ of marketable produce

All the brain surgeons and rocket scientists crossing the Rio Grande.

Did anyone notice the plus sign at the tail-end of 90%?

Sooo… the actual numbers could conceivably be around the 99.9 percent mark, but as long as UC Davis throws that plus sign into the mix, they can play fast and loose with the numbers.

Budde also made note supposedly, the overwhelming majority of those in violation of 8 U.S. Code § 1325 are also the only one who do the following;

  • Clean our office buildings
  • Who labor in poultry farms and meat packing plants
  • Who wash the dishes after we eat in restaurants
  • Work the night shifts in hospitals

Isn’t that kinda like when that no-talent hack Kelly Osbourne said about Latinos “Cleaning out toilets”?
