Palisades Charter High School burns to the ground.
Wow. That Climate Change sure is something else, huh?
As it turns out, that scary Climate Change IS NOT responsible for any of the following;
- Clearing wild-fire fuel (dried scrub brush, dead trees, etc.) is illegal in California.
- LA mayor Karen Bass cut $18 million from the LAFD budget.
- LA mayor Karen Bass instead spending millions on DEI programs.
- Democrats look the other way as homeless numbers skyrocket, along with the numbers of open-pit fires in the LA foothills.
- The LAFD has been sending their own firefighting equipment to Ukraine for the past handful years.
- The city of LA fired firefighters for refusing the COVID jab.
-
Some fire hydrants in LA have no water, but amazingly, there’s plenty of water for golf courses.
Something else to consider; drought is nothing new to Southern California, and we can almost set our watches when it comes to the regularity of the Santa Ana winds.
Yeah… Climate Change has nothing to do with any of this.
Yet according to the national correspondent for Newsweek magazine, Khaleda Rahman, the answer is yes.
While Rahman attempts to be coy with the headline, How Did Palisades Fire Start? Is Climate Change To Blame for LA Wildfires?, of course she blames the media-driven boogieman of Climate change.
As noted by Rahman (emphasis mine);
Is Climate Change to Blame?
Climate change is making California’s fires larger and more severe, experts say. Fifteen of the state’s 20 most destructive fires on record have occurred in the past 10 years, according to CAL Fire.
California’s fires have become more deadly because of warming temperatures, according to Daniel Swain, a climate scientist with the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability, said on NASA‘s Earth Observatory website.
Please note that the above noted organizations are all government organizations.
Fair bet that none of them will bite the hand that feeds them.
