It really ain’t all that hard to connect the dots…
With me still being worried over the small handful of family I have left in Los Angeles, I couldn’t help but wonder what solutions Karen Bass, Gavin Newsom, and the rest of the brain trust may be doing to actually solve the problem at hand.
I happened to have come across a rather interesting story from a few years back, but certainly pertains today.
After reading a 2019 official article from the USMC Public Affairs Office, I’m not exactly shocked that the Democrats haven’t quite figured a rather simple way to end their latest effort to destroy a once great city.
Certain parts of the below article are highlighted for emphasis. I’m sure I don’t have to point out the obvious, but I will say this; the Marines can set this system up for however miles it takes.
One other point – the 150,000 gallons cited in the article is just the amount these Marines used for this particular exercise.
Literally, these Marines could build a tactical system capable of storing millions of gallons.
Marines with 8th ESB [Engineer Support Battalion] use heavy equipment to construct a bulk fuel site for a 150,000 gallon tactical fuel system. They then use hoses connected to a 600 GPM pump to transport water from the ocean to the fueling system.
“We have a company sized element out here with one main mission…,” said Warrant Officer Andrew Walter, a platoon commander with Bulk Fuel Co., 8th ESB. “To build a bulk fuel site in order to support a scenario to improve our tactics, techniques and procedures.”
The water represents fuel that the Marines will store to resupply vehicles in a deployed environment.
While I’m not all that familiar with the California National Guard and/or the California Air National Guard, I’m fairly sure that Newsom probably has the same trained personnel and equipment currently available.
Another point to ponder, with and all those reservoirs, dams, water treatment and water storage facilities ran by the state of California, don’t those same facilities rely on pumps?
