‘Wanted’ indeed…
As the Left continues to lose their shit over Elon Musk’s Dept. of Government Efficiency, the origin of such is something the Jackass Party conveniently forgets.
Hold onto your hats, gang. The DOGE was an entity actually founded by… wait for it… Barack Obama.
Yep, it was in 2014 the Bath House Barry ordered into being something called USDS (U.S. Digital Service) whose stated purpose and strategy is as follows (emphasis mine);
Recruit top designers, engineers, product managers, and digital policy experts. Pair these digital experts with our nation’s leading civil servants. Deploy these teams to address some of the most critical government services, together.
But we can chalk up yet another W for Team Trump. It was on Inauguration Day that Pres. Trump signed Executive Order 14158 that officially renamed the USDS to DOGE. Specifically;
Sec. 3. DOGE Structure. (a) Reorganization and Renaming of the United States Digital Service. The United States Digital Service is hereby publicly renamed as the United States DOGE Service (USDS) and shall be established in the Executive Office of the President.
(b) Establishment of a Temporary Organization. There shall be a USDS Administrator established in the Executive Office of the President who shall report to the White House Chief of Staff.
Soooo… all this hyper-ventilating by Chuckie Schumer, Gasoline Maxine, and Jasmine “Everything’s Fake” Crockett accusing Pres. Trump of allegedly “destroying the Constitution” by appointing Musk to honcho USDS/DOGE… those tantrums are now officially debunked.
In the meantime, as seen below, DOGE has uncovered a contract for $168,707 to create an actual exhibit dedicated to singing the praises of Dr. Anthony Fauci at the NIH (National Institute of Health) Museum. BTW, who knew the NIH even has a museum. Next question, why does the NIH even need a museum?
But back to the topic at hand, the Dept. of Health and Human Services has since cancelled the contract.
In the past 48 hours, HHS canceled 62 contract worth $182 million. These contracts were entirely for administrative expenses – none touched any healthcare programs. This included terminating a $168,000 contract for an Anthony Fauci exhibit at the NIH Museum. pic.twitter.com/EsZxflPS6w
