How Many of your Congressional Reps REALLY Care About your Best Interests?

I’d put that number at two.

Long ago, I remember learning that the Founding Fathers expected members of the House of Representatives to be successful men, but still men of the people. Occupations such as small farmers, shop owners and commercial fisherman.

NONE of them would survive in today’s swamp. But there is hope for the future.

I also recall the Founders had a sort of ‘gentleman’s agreement’ that representatives wouldn’t serve more than two or three terms. My, how things have changed.

But like every revolution, someone has to strike the match. As far as the US House is concerned, I’m of the opinion that it’s actually two people; Reps. Victoria Spartz (MAGA-Indiana) and Thomas Massie (MAGA-Kentucky).

I wish either of them represented the 7th Congressional District of North Carolina instead of the usually flaccid wind sock we’re stuck with.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) obviously has an ‘R’ at the end of his name, but from where I sit, he’s just another Swamp Creature who occasionally sides with President Trump.
