Believe me… it took me quite a while, but I finally found an official World Health Organization website stating every single COVID variant from the Greek alphabet from Alpha to Mu to the latest variant tagged Omicron.
But if you reference the graph below, you’ll clearly see that the letters Nu and Xi have been skipped over.
Interesting, huh?
As seen in the tweet below from Jon Levine of the New York Post, Levin cites Dr. Margaret Harris, the official spokesthing of the WHO explaining why Nu and Xi got the heave-ho.
Obviously, we speakers of the English language are too stupid to understand the difference between “Nu” and “new”, as well as possibly offending anyone with the family name of Xi.
