Something with this story is very, VERY wrong. In fact, when you finish reading this, if you don’t have more red flags than a Soviet battleship, you’re probably a Democrat.
Not being a believer of guilt by accusation, I sat on this until this particular federal government entity was either found guilty or they fessed-up.
In this case, the federal organization in question happens to be the US Air Force. So much for that whole Support and defend Constitution thingee.
Thankfully, this wasn’t dragged out for years and years. Someone at the USAF decided to come clean. At least one guy gets kudos for a happily-ever-after integrity check.
Here’s the bottom line; the United States Air Force released personal info of 11 ex-Air Force members who happen to be Republicans and also just happen to be candidates for the US Congress.
But wait, there’s more.
As it turns out, the USAF notes that the info released was initially supposedly released to a “third party” but was actually released to a Democrat Party operative.
Even though the Air Force did admit they screwed-up, without fail, they threw some very junior underling under the bus.

Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.) was informed of the “unauthorized release” in a letter from the Air Force obtained by POLITICO. Rep. Zach Nunn (R-Iowa) said in a statement that he was told by the Air Force that his own records were also disclosed without his approval.
Bacon said Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall first told him that an internal probe revealed 11 people’s records were disclosed and that the Air Force would send the results of its inquiry to the Justice Department — while offering no further information on whether a formal DOJ investigation would result. The GOP lawmaker called for a probe of the role played by a Democratic-linked firm that the Air Force told him “inappropriately requested” his personnel records.
The revelation follows the uproar over the disclosure of Indiana House GOP candidate Jennifer-Ruth Green’s military records after POLITICO reported on them in October. And it promises to intensify Republicans’ already keen interest in investigating whether other sitting members of Congress were affected — as well as the role that a Democratic-linked research firm played in the episode.
The Air Force launched its audit after the disclosure of Green’s records, according to Stefanek.
Stefanek, the Air Force spokesperson, said in an October statement that a “preliminary” inquiry found Green’s “service record was released to a third party by a junior individual who didn’t follow proper procedures and obtain required consent.”
I can’t help but wonder how much more personal information has been “accidentally” fed to Democrat operatives?
I also question if this was simply a case of some low-level paper-pusher failing to “follow proper procedures”? I’ll wonder out loud, how high does this go in the Air Force chain of command?
Allow me to respond in all sincerity as eloquently as possible, but blaming this entire badly played spy drama on a junior individual is pure and unadulterated bullshit.
