Biden’s New CDC Director: We Need 14 Days to Bend the Curve of COVID-19 Delta Variant

Don’t get mad at me for posting this. I’m just following the science…

“Two weeks to bend the curve.” Remember this particular mantra that everyone chanted well over 500 days ago? Yeah… I remember it, too.

I also remember when researchers at the St Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey found that hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), a commonly used malaria drug (especially in the 3rd World), along with the antibiotic azithromycin can increase a person’s chances of surviving the COVI-19 virus by nearly 200 percent. Specifically, 194.5 percent.

The same study (conducted by medRxiv.org) also found that “Zinc sulfate added to hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin may improve outcomes among hospitalized patients.”

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky and Joe Chi Minh.

But what I really remember was the bashing President Trump had to deal with when he cited a French medical report “showed HCQ combined with azithromycin, an antibiotic, was safe and effective in lowering COVID-19’s virus count in patients who had first contracted the disease” as reported by the Washington Times.

More to the point, Kelly Sadler of the The Washington Times noted (emphasis mine);

The mainstream media is just getting around to admitting COVID-19 may have leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Reporters have since confessed they dismissed the theory early on because former President Donald J. Trump entertained it.

The same may be said for hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), after which Mr. Trump spoke of its promise last year, was turned into a political pariah that was quickly dismissed and discredited — all without a proper scientific investigation into its effectiveness.

In April 2020, a small French study showed HCQ combined with azithromycin, an antibiotic, was safe and effective in lowering COVID-19’s virus count in patients who had first contracted the disease. Mr. Trump immediately cited the study — as it was good news — the world was at the height of the pandemic and HCQ had been approved and used by physicians for 85 years to treat both malaria and some autoimmune diseases.

The drug was generic, cheap and widely available. It offered hope as the nation waited for Big Pharma to develop a cure-all vaccination.

But ya know, some people never learn.

Now we have Sleepy Joe’s new director of the CDC, Rochelle Walensky, proving that everything old is new again. As reported by PJMedia.com (emphasis mine);

Perhaps CDC Director Rochelle Walensky has no sense of irony. We recently passed the 500th day to slow the spread, which, as we all know, started with 15 days to slow the spread in March of 2020. Now, Walensky is saying that if we all put on a face diaper and get the jab, we can defeat the Delta variant in a few weeks:

“We can halt the chain of transmission,” Walensky told “CBS This Morning” on Wednesday. “We can do something if we unify together, if we get people vaccinated who are not yet vaccinated, if we mask in the interim, we can halt this in just a matter of a couple of weeks.”

In the meantime, it was nearly 11 months ago when the Western media largely ignored Canadian Dr. Kulvinder Gill when she warned the world, as reported by LifeSiteNews.com (emphasis mine);

A Canadian doctor said the “smears against Hydroxychloroquine” as an effective treatment for COVID-19 “need to stop,” and she raised concerns that a physician could get into trouble for even talking about the drug.

In a Sky News Australia interview during an August 29 episode of “Outsiders,” Dr. Kulvinder Gill alleged that in most of North America, along with a large portion of European nations and Australia and New Zealand, a doctor prescribing Hydroxychloroquine could invite an investigation from their local doctors’ college.

“In some jurisdictions, they’re even starting to investigate doctors who are merely talking about it,” Gill said. “They’re being censored as being spreading dangerous information when they’re simply talking about evidence-based medication.”

Even the foaming-at-the-mouth rabidly anti-Trump British press grudgingly gives Trump the credit for singing the praises of HCQ. As recently cited by The Sun of London (emphasis mine);

The drug hydroxychloroquine can increase a Covid-19 patient’s survival rate by up to 200 percent, according to a fresh study.

Donald Trump was mocked by critics for touting the malaria drug as a potential cure for coronavirus last year.

But it has since emerged that ventilated parents with a severe case of the virus and treated with high doses of hydroxychloroquine with zinc have a better chance of successfully battling it.

In March 2020, Trump said he was taking the drug to prevent Covid. He was infected with the virus in October 2020.

Trump was lambasted by members of the scientific community for suggesting that hydroxychloroquine was a miracle but on Wednesday, his allies highlighted the Saint Barnabas Medical Center study.

Did you notice the nations that make it difficult to get HCQ?
