CNN Downplays Gang-Rape of 13-Year-Old Girl by Illegals; Tied-Up Boyfriend, Forced Him to Watch

Seriously… does anyone honestly need more proof that CNN really is fake news?

Well, in case you are one of those poor, brain-addled children, allow me to point-out yet another one for the lowlight reel.

As it turns out, CNN isn’t just suffering from full-blown TDS. Looks as if Chicken Noodle News has declared full-blown war on anything and everything with even a whiff of conservatism or traditionalism.

Case in point: A young girl in Sicily was just gang raped by a pack of illegal aliens. But to listen to CNN, this is just another attack by the conservatives in the Rome government on those poor, helpless boat people.

As reported by Barbie Latza Nadeau for CNN (emphasis mine);

An alleged gang rape shocks Italy, and provides fodder for an ascendant far right

Italy has been shaken by the alleged gang rape of a 13-year-old girl in front of her boyfriend in a public park in the Sicilian city of Catania, the latest in a string of shocking sexual attacks in the country.

The case is reminiscent of two alleged gang rapes last summer. A group of seven men and teenage boys between the ages of 15 and 18 are currently on trial for the alleged rape of a 19-year-old girl in Palermo in August.

Weeks later nine young men were arrested and charged with allegedly raping two cousins aged 10 and 12 near Naples and broadcasting the attack live on social media. They, too, are facing trial.

Last month’s alleged gang rape in Catania has become not only a symbol of violence against women in the country, but a cause célèbre for Italy’s far-right government. The seven suspected perpetrators were all Egyptian migrants, three of them under the age of 18, Catania police confirmed to CNN.

The case was soon seized upon as evidence that migrants should be blocked from entering the country.

Italy’s prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, came to power in September 2022 on an anti-immigration platform, but her efforts to curb irregular migration into the country have so far been unsuccessful.

Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, one of the country’s most visible far-right figures, said on X that they should not have been allowed to stay.

Meanwhile, during a visit to Catania, Meloni expressed her solidarity with the alleged rape victim and her family.

The judge investigating the most recent case, Carlo Umberto Cannella, said the suspects were likely to reoffend because they were not “accustomed to civilization.”

In a scathing op-ed in the right-leaning newspaper Il Giornale, which was founded by the family of the late former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, the editors also blamed migration for the alleged Sicily rape.

Perhaps a bit more of a balanced report would be that of the everything-Greece news site, GreekReporter.com;

Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini has demanded chemical castration for rapists after the incident occurred. Salvini said the girl was “raped by a gang of seven Egyptians” and that there can “only be one cure: chemical castration,” The Sun reports.

A group of male teenagers then forced the girl and her partner into a public bathroom, where some of the young men held the boyfriend back while two others raped the girl.

The suspects are reportedly from Egypt and between 15 to 19 years old.

She said she consistently attempted to free herself, as did her boyfriend, but the pair couldn’t overpower the group of teenagers. The girl said that during the alleged gang rape, they forced her boyfriend to watch.

“He was screaming, [and] he was desperate,” the girl told the newspaper. “I said: I beg you, I beg you, don’t hurt me, let me go.”
