Nah, not the Iranians… they already AT A MINIMUM have prototypes built.
Could the next Muslim majority nation(s) to join the ‘Nuclear Club’ be the ridiculously-oil rich Saudi Arabians? Maybe regional powerhouse Egypt wants some real teeth to their largely inept military. The possibility exists that even a dark horse like Indonesia could be in the running. By the way, Indonesia has been salivating for decades over all that empty land over in Australia.
Anyhow, all three of the aforementioned nations (and more than a few other Muslim countries) certainly have the money to purchase their own nukes.
Sellers being the likes of the perpetually broke nations of Pakistan, Russia, and North Korea.
They also have enough cash on hand to hire all the renegade Western scientists and engineers they need to ensure all their warheads make it to the intended targets.
With that all aside, back to the topic at hand. As of this moment in time, the trajectory of the headline is that the next two Muslim-majority nations to have nuclear weapons readily available will be Great Britain and France.
Digging a bit deeper, first I’ll give the bad news, then the good news.
- BAD NEWS – both of these future Muslim superpowers won’t be starting from scratch. Everything they need to be nuclear powers are already in place and fully operable.
- GOOD NEWS – The Muslim takeovers of these two specific nations won’t happen for at least another two generations, with a couple years +/- going either way.
According to the Washington Times, Muslims in France will tip the scales their way “Within 40 years, given current demographic trends, the white population in France and the rest of old Europe will recede, creating a Muslim majority, a French researcher says.”
In the meantime, Channel 4 News of London cites in an article that was published during the summer of 2013, “Less than 40 years from now, the sound of church bells will apparently have been largely replaced by the Muslim call to prayer.”
So, what kind of nuclear weapons and infrastructure will the jihadists in Britain and France inherit? I realize that the Muslim Replacement is more than a few years away, but here’s how things stand as of the summer of 2024.
As noted by ArmsControlCenter.org;
The United Kingdom is estimated to possess 225 nuclear weapons, of which 120 are operationally available and only 40 are deployed at a time. All of the deployed warheads are controlled by the Royal Navy, which maintains a continuous at-sea presence via its four Vanguard-class nuclear-powered submarines. This posture ensures a secure second-strike capability in the event of a nuclear attack.
In a separate report from ArmsControlCenter.org;
France is estimated to possess 290 nuclear weapons, of which about 280 are deployed. The remaining weapons are thought to be in maintenance or storage. The vast majority, or approximately 240 are deployed by the French Navy, which maintains a continuous at-sea presence via its nuclear-powered submarines. This posture ensures a secure second-strike capability in the event of a nuclear attack.
France maintains carrier-based aircraft to deliver its air-launched cruise missiles, called the ASMP. The Rafale fighter-bomber has a range of 2,000 kilometers and is produced for the French Air Force and for carrier-based operations in the French Navy. There are 40 thermonuclear warheads available for French Strategic Air Forces and 10 warheads are available for the French Naval Nuclear Aviation Force.
