Tulsi’s Up-Hill Fight; The Hidden Ace Up Trump’s Sleeve

Could some major horse-trading be in the making?

As just about everyone already knows, ex-Democrat and ex-Congresswoman (HI) Tulsi Gabbard is Pres. Trump’s pick for the DNI (Director of National Intelligence) slot in his Cabinet.

What a lot don’t know is that Gabbard’s Senate confirmation is in trouble. Deep trouble.

Despite a 53-47 supposed GOP majority in the Upper Chamber, one would think that the upcoming vote on Gabbard would be a slam dunk. Not so fast.

The world just witnessed three RINOs, Sens. Lisa Murkowski (AK), Mitch McConnell (KY), Susan Collins (ME), voted with the Democrats during the vote on Pete Hegseth as Trump’s Sec. of Defense.

With me being a firm believer of “Plan for the worst, hope for the best, accept whatever happens in-between,” I predict the aforementioned Democrat-wannabes with vote against Gabbard, presumably sometime next week (of course, given she’s cleared committee).

Bob “Gold Bricks” Menendez.

With the knowledge that Gabbard can only lose three GOP votes, just my opinion, but the smart money is that not a single Dem will cast an “Aye” for her. Even worse, count on someone like Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC) to torpedo her for good.

Ahhh… but just today, we find out that Democrat ex-senator, New Jersey’s own Bob Menendez, was just sentenced today to 11-years in prison on a corruption case, as reported by AP news.

Oddly enough, the Joe Biden DoJ (Dept. of Justice) only opened an investigation on Menendez AFTER he wondered out loud that Biden’s DoJ had weaponized the entire department by gunning for their opposition. Namely, one Donald John Trump.

I just can’t help but wonder if Menendez’s name still carries some weight? Or probably much more important, what secrets does Bullion Bob know of his fellow senators?

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Trump pardon Menendez, but only if Gabbard and the rest of Trump’s nominees get approved, even if only by a slim margin.
