California AG Calls on Citizens to Spy on, then Snitch on Department Stores

Keep spying on your neighbors… just like they want you to.

Textbook definition of Economic Fascism.

If you’re reading this article, that alone proves you keep up on all news, both domestic and international.

While I’m at it, I’m sure you’re already familiar with the ex-East German Ministry for State Security (Ministerium für Staatssicherheit), commonly known as simply the Stasi.

It’s already common knowledge that up until the 1990 fall of the Soviet-backed Communist government of East Germany, the Stasi had a file on at least one-out-of-every-five East Germans.

But if you actually believe that governmental domestic spy agencies died when the Berlin Wall came tumbling down, guess again.

Will spy for food. KGB Agent Vladdie Putin when stationed in East Germany.

Coming as a surprise to no one, it’s being reported that the California Attorney General is calling upon the general public to keep their eyes peeled for any “large” department stores failing to sell “gender-neutral” kiddie stuff.

Seriously.

As reported by LegalNewsline.com (emphasis mine);

“As the holiday season approaches and folks look for the best deals, consumers should slow down and check their safety list twice,” said Attorney General [Rob] Bonta. “I urge Californians to know their rights, familiarize themselves with shopping pitfalls, and report scams and illegal activity to my office and local law enforcement agencies. Happy and safe shopping, California!”

**Lack of a Gender-Neutral Products Section**: AB 1084 requires large retail department stores in California to maintain a gender-neutral section for childcare items or toys as of January 1, 2024. Consumers can report non-compliance if they observe inadequate sections.

Hmmm… the government telling private enterprises what they can and cannot sell, and specifically how it’s supposed to be marketed?

That particular economic system rhymes with something called Smashism.

But I do have a couple of silly questions that the Golden State’s AG might not have been asked yet;

  • What’s the definition of “large department stores”? “Large” as in square feet? “Large” as in sales per day? “Large” as in the employees are all morbidly obese?
  • Why would keep a quick-thinking entrepreneur from hanging a sign stating “Gender-Neutral” over a shelf or two stocked with shoestrings, boxes of crayons, and a few generic white baby rattles?
