As I watched today’s installment of “Biden Destroys America” I couldn’t help but see Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) raise hell with the Senate chairman of the judiciary committee, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL).
The senator from the Lone Star State sought to submit a letter “signed by 10 senators” essentially asking that when the Democrat members receive requested documents, then Republican senators should get the same info at the same time.
Well, that sounds pretty fair and basic. Nonetheless, members of the Jackass party whined in unison, somehow equating that request would lead to the deaths of innocent people.
No, it doesn’t make sense to me, either.
Anyhow, when Cruz noted that his letter was signed by 10 Republican members of this particular committee, it struck me as odd. Mainly because I know there are 11 Republican senators on the judiciary committee.
So, who was this gutless RINO turd? None other than the Cornhusker State’s Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE). Sasse was one of the few GOP senators to vote to convict President Trump in the Democrat-led impeachment of 2021.
Sasse was also one of the first “Republican” senators to claim that Joe Biden won the 2020 election fairly.
Just remember gang, he’s not going to face re-election until 2026.
PS, don’t be shocked if and when Sasse votes to confirm known bigot Ketanji Brown Jackson to be an Associate Justice to the Supreme Court of the United States.
